Where to begin?! Staying at the Frontier Hostel should be a no brainer for anyone stopping in Dien Bien. The hostel is fantastic, comfortable and clean- but it’s the people that make the place! Greg and Són, and the whole team make this a special place to spend some time. We also ended up doing a tour which was phenomenal from start to finish. All I can say is that if Dien Bien ever crosses your mind as a place to go- Frontier hostel can be chosen eyes closed as it is a gem!

The owner was amazing at helping us sort out money, SIM card etc after just arriving into Vietnam. He also managed to sort our onward travel straight away

Ants in the room, but when we told the owner he got someone to come up and put some powder down

Perfect location, the staff is super helpful, they have also scooters for rent that is perfect for this city, the traffic is not soo crowdy and it's easy to move and visit some veeery nice places not too far.

Top experience! The staff Is lovely and always there to help. We made the Dien Bien Phu LOOP and it was one of the best thing I've done in south east Asia. Totally recommended!!! Thank you guys again! Hope to see you soon 😊

Great value for money, good location and the room was very clean. The staff were so kind in helping us book taxis and also posted our battery pack to us (which we'd forgotten!). Would 100% recommend.

Great staff, clean rooms and amazing value for money. We arrived during Tet and they kept us informed on bus schedules and availability even before our arrival, and they organised our onward travel to Sapa which picked us up right from the hostel. Dien Bien Phu is a very interesting city and this hostel is perfectly located to see all the main sights on a quick stopover going to/from Laos. Quite possibly the hottest and most powerful shower we experienced during our SE Asia trip 😄
