Nobu Hotel San Sebastián

Had a great stay at Nobu Hotel! Super friendly staff, comfy room, and the location couldn’t be better. Loved the vibe and the food was really good too. Would totally come back!

This review should be broken down into separate parts. All of the staff at the Nobu were lovely. They were helpful and friendly. The breakfast served was great too. The hotel itself is elegant. The missing link is the price. This is a very expensive hotel. When one pays premium, one expects a premium experience. The price just does not match the hotel. There is a small pool on the roof. We have traveled a lot and have stayed at many different levels of hotels. Once again, for the price we paid, there should have been more. Additionally, in order to get to the beach, you have to walk down the street a bit, cross the street...walk further. Though it appears close in the photos, it is not directly accessible. . If this hotel lowered its price in half, I would give it five stars. Unfortunately, it just doesn't match the high price one pays to stay here. * Our room was one that could be a joint room with next door. We could literally hear our next door neighbors talking and their tv clearly. We also were right under the terrace. We heard chairs moving and other noises until midnight. This is acceptable in a hotel with a low budget price point...but not when paying such a high price. The hotel did provide a 20% discount to us. And we appreciated this.

Great hotel, lovely attentive staff - in a perfect place just far enough out of town. Small pool area but we got beds. Bedroom was well equipped (little dark) but quiet. We ate at the restaurant one night which was lovely. Terrace is great but service was a little slow. Fab views….

Very average hotel for the price paid. Felt 4 star rather than 5. The pool was tiny with very little space for people as there were only 4 loungers. We booked a sea view with a balcony and had to ask for chairs so we could sit on it. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived because they had to spray it for bugs. Everything feels a bit old there so some updating needed.

We just checked out after spending four magical nights celebrating our wedding, and every moment was unforgettable. The service was exceptional, attentive, thoughtful, and seamlessly detailed from start to finish. When we arrived, the team at Nobu already knew we were getting married and had a bottle of Txakoli from the very vineyard we were tying the knot at waiting for us in the room. Two nights before the wedding, we hosted our welcome drinks on the Nobu terrace, breathtaking views, incredible food and drink, and the perfect way to kick off the celebrations. Special shout-out to Ainara, who helped us plan the terrace party and checked in on me throughout the weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and care made such a difference, and we’re so grateful. On the morning of the wedding, my friends joined me in our room to get ready, and the Nobu team generously brought us coffees and drinks on the house. They also surprised me with a stunning bouquet of flowers that matched my wedding florals perfectly, they had even coordinated with my wedding planner to get every detail just right. After the wedding, we returned to find a bottle of champagne waiting in our room, a beautiful touch that ended the weekend on a high. The entire experience was flawless, and we’re already planning to return for our one-year anniversary.

Absolutely loved the space,views and access to the city! Intimate hotel and excellent experience will plan on returning. Staff was very accommodating and attentive. While the room was small everything was perfectly placed and loved the open windows in bathroom and view from our balcony

I am checking out now and I would not recommend staying at this Nobu Hotel. It is small, dark and not at all similar to Nobu in NYC or LA. The staff is lovely but our room had a shower with luke warm water and the ac did not get cool enough so we were provided with a floor fan. Not acceptable for a hotel charging well over 1K a night. additonally, the food at the Nobu "Michelin star"restaurant was lovely but nobody ever asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee so we had to get up to find someone to pay our bill. This was our anniversary dinner and we felt abandoned half way through because two larger parties showed up. We arrived at this Nobu after staying at the Artist Hotel in Bilbao which was far superior and half the price. our room at Nobu was tiny, the view was superb and the location can not be beat. That said, I think you can stay at any other hotel on this beach and be completely satisfied. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel. I feel like it was a complete waste of money. I read alot of reviews before deciding on this hotel so I have no one to blame but myself. The reviews are quite mixed and I took a chance.

I stayed in different Nobu’s around the world and unfortunately this is my least favorite. The service is below average I was looked after by 2 good employees and the rest were sometimes even rude. Gym is too small, room is amazing, breakfast is delicious. I would not stay here again, id visit for the terrace and leave; not worth what i paid for

Not really what I didn't like but just some thoughts to consider: Cooked breakfast component - not done that well, have had better The 150 euro supplement for the dog is absurd in comparison to all other pet friendly hotels that are either between 0 and 30 euros and you offer no more than any other hotel, in fact I would argue that because you are multi-story there is actually no outside dog space that makes it easy to get you dog to the toilet etc and this should be made clear on the website. However in the hotel you were very friendly for dogs and accommodating which I loved
