Station Hotel

Simple comfortable location to stay at.

Was difficult to get into property as they keep the door locked and no staff were ever on-site during our stay. Once we managed to get into our room (by phoning numbers posted on the doors multiple times) our stay was fine. The room was spacious, but twin mattress in our room had a significant sag in the middle that made getting comfortable a challenge. We were given 2 towels for 3 people. Location was very convenient. Easy walking to train station, centre of town, and historic buildings.

Budget hotel, you get what you paid for. Not for me, I’d rather pay a little more to be comfortable. Old and smelly!

The phone number on thier website doesn't work. They didn't respond to either of my two email enquiries. When we arrived there was no one on reception to let us in and we had to call a mobile number that was stuck to the front door with poor instructions as to what to do if no one was in. When calling both mobile numbers neither of them were answered and we were only able to get in because a fellow guest let us in. The room was good and was quiet at night with the only disruption being that of the hotel owner talking loudly on the phone in the middle of the night.

This hotel was very basic but comfortable. No one was there to serve you and the reception had no receptionist. The room itself was clean, comfortable and safe with a good en suite shower.
