Station Hotel

No running water in shower, wouldnt turn on, plug socket faulty wouldnt charge phone, kepting blipping on and off, outside very dirty, no one would answer phone calls and no one at reception, cleaner had to let me in, no remote for tv,

When I arrived at the hotel, the outside looked rundown and unwelcoming. I waited until almost 2pm and rang the front doorbell, but no one answered, so I went for a short walk and returned to try the doorbell again. There was still no reply when I rang so I called a phone number posted on the front door and left a message on an answer machine. I went for another short walk and on my return I was greeted by a member of the hotel staff. I was asked to pay the fee for my stay, but when I offered my debit card, was told that the hotel would only accept cash, so I then had to find a cash machine. I was given a choice of 2 rooms. The first was large and had a bathroom along a hallway, but had no tv. The second room was small, but had a tv and a shower room which had no curtains or door, which resulted in light and noise seeping into the bedroom. The hall up to the bedroom and the bedroom itself smelt musty. The mattress on the bed was uncomfortable, but as I was so tired I did manage to sleep. I was woken early by the noise of traffic on the road outside and light coming into the bedroom from the shower room window. There was no washroom door or curtain on the washroom windowThere was a kettle, cup and tea, coffee etc but no teaspoon. There was no tv remote, so I had to go downstairs to the reception area to ask for one. There was a part toilet roll on the holder, used soap in a container in the shower cubicle and water left in the kettle. Dirty marks and dust on carpet & surfaces.

Never could get my room no body would answer the phone or call me back DO NOT RENT A ROOM FROM THEM !!!!

Tv was broken, screen all cracked, no phone chargers, not enough toilet paper, small lamp broken, stuffed in a drawer. Pillows passed under a steam roller. Ad stated resturant, but zero food available at anytime. Not enough parking available. Other hotels in street, allow longterm parking with large ticket hotel gives you to stick in car. Hotel says we do not do. Yeah they do not do, but the rest do. I stayed at this hotel because i was going to arrive late. But great i can get meal. So i booked on false info. Booked for two nights, room not cleaned for second night, so toilet paper not replenished. Will never ever stay in such a such a hotel ever again. No staff at check out to demand a big discount

Unable to gain entry to property. When somebody eventually answered the phone and let me in from the rain, they were unable to accept card payment so I left and booked elsewhere.

This hotel was lovely,staff really friendly on check in, card machine wasn’t working so had to pay cash( no problem) everything clean and well looked after.

Basic hotel, needs some improvements with maintenance issues, slight damp issue in room we stayed in...no heating in bathroom so a little chilly in there. The lady herself was great when asked for extra towel and cup as only 1 in there for double room and was very helpful with parking. No contact number though all numbers are incorrect on here and websites so not able to contact at all
