Kew Bridge by Viridian Apartments

Would NOT recommend staying here. Loooooonnnnnnngggggg list of complaints BUYER BE WARE DO NOT STAY HERE We are from NZ staying here for 12 nights and have been deeply disappointed with our accommodation, angry in fact. 1. Showers - Both rain shower heads were spraying outwards not just downwards; the main bathroom was unusable as it sprayed the roof, the walls and the floor within seconds. I tried multiple times to get them to come and fix it and on the 9th night they wanted the maintenance person to come at 9:30 at night! It was finally fully replaced on the 10th day with the en-suite shower being fixed too. 2. Temperature - The temperature is preset to 26 degrees and is uncomfortably hot with no ability to control it and turn it down ourselves. I asked for them to fix this too and twice they said “The thermostat in the living area can only be used to control the heating. If you would like to cool the apartment, you will need to go into the utility cupboard, where you will find a switch that looks like a light switch marked “Heating” on one side and “Cooling” on the other. If you would like cool air and the heating turned off, please switch it over to “Cooling.”” There is no such switch! 3. Rubbish - The information booklet is so incorrect, I had to ask a random person leaving the apartment where I put our rubbish. I was kindly shown where to put our rubbish and it was nowhere near the instructions and did not require any codes as per the information given both in the booklet and the email. 4, Washing machine / dryer - The time on the machine is not the time it will take. It takes so much longer. The dryer is dangerously hot. The most annoying part, the lock will not automatically unlock after its cycle to allow you to open the door. Tonight I was close to smashing the door open to get my clothes out to pack as we are leaving early in the morning and there was no way my clothes were staying here in a broken machine!

It was spacious and comfortable with all needed amenities. Lot of light and very comfortably decorated in a modern way. Really enjoyed the space.

1) The kitchen could have been a bit better stocked. There was no scissors. Basic things like salt could have been in the apartment. No serving dishes or sponges etc. 2) We also had a lot of trouble with the heating system. The temperature was set very low and we were very cold. It took a while for the apartment to finally resolve it only when I emailed Booking.com. But in the end they were also kind enough to leave space heaters for us and our second week there was much more comfortable. 3) All the lighting in the apartment is programmed and this gave us a lot of trouble. The master bedroom lights would go off if I needed to use the bathroom lights (both didn’t work together), the second bathroom’s lights wouldn’t go off and were left on our whole visit etc. We did inform the management but they said the whole system would need reprogramming.

Size of apartment is good.

This flat needs a good maintenance and better management to run the place, Kitchen appliances and furniture must be fixed and replaced. Garden: is overgrown with weeds. Kitchen: not equipped well and broken glass of the oven. ONE spon and ONE fork, again reported twice and response came after 2 days. Also there is no coffees machine or pot. We had 2 frying pans that doesn’t work with stovetop we had to fray eggs with saucepan. Bathrooms: First night light in the bathroom didn’t work, we reported and fixed next day. So may reviews complained about the shower temperature, we had same problem. Family bathroom the temperature of water keep changing by it self from hot to cold. The master bedroom bathroom water temperature is extremely boiling hot and can’t adjusted. For four days I requested to be fixed and nobody showed up from maintenance, and the customer service asked me to reach duty manager. How Im supposed to contact manager without providing manager email? . Traied to call many times but no one response. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment.

Modern and very quirky. Close to transport and the Thames. Car park adjacent is good value. Nice pubs in Walking distance.

Flat is very modern, spacious and comfortable in a great location. For London, it is very good value.

There were a number of maintenance issues that need sorting. The thermostatic valves for the showers/baths do not work well and need to be replaced. The light in one of the toilets didn't work properly and the frying pan is not compatible with the induction hob.
