"Great apartment. Clean and beautiful,"

The property is great, good size, clean and perfect for the location

The property has no instructions on climate control. It was stifling hot in the lounge and freezing in the bedrooms. No instructions on amending the controls. There was a frying pan but no lid, the pots and pans were sparse, you need more. There was not enough spatula for frying eggs for example. There were only 3 cups - which means you cannot entertain any guests. Only 2 teabags. Which is woefully short Think about what a traveller or guest would need.

"Nice flat, could use some improvements."

Lovely spacious apartment, well decorated, lovely views and nice location.

The apartment could have been cleaner. It felt surface clean but there were stains in the toilet, marks in the kitchen cupboards and walls. The air conditioning didnt work and although they had left two fans it didnt do anything too for the 34 degree heat. There was also no clear access to outside space as advertised.

"Never happened —— poor support at every turn."

I found the hosts (property and booking.com) uncompromising and very much sterile in their ability to meet both a clients needs and assess changes outside of the clients control - we have not faced such issues prior with any location or Booking.com. We understand policies and the small print, however, we feel that there could have been a greater degree of human element rather than walls being built. We will not be using either entity again.

"Superb"

The location was just right. A short trip to downtown London and other points of interest.

The air conditioning system did not work well. The apartment got very hot in the late afternoon and early evening. The refrigerator door was very difficult to open and the seal around the door was not secured well.

"Quirky modernity, great location"

Very spacious, modern apartment. Quirky redevelopment of a church. Lacked a personal touch but just fine for seasoned travellers who didn't need any assistance.

Kitchen could be better equipped to save us having to buy say, salt etc. The ACs were a welcome break. We had some difficulty switching them off when not needed.

The location was great - close to train station. Very nice apartment - very comfortable and clean

Lack of kitchen equipment. Insufficient cutlery and crockery. No serving dishes or ovenware. Broken oven. All this was reported but not fixed

"Exactly what i was looking for"

Apartment is short walk from train station. No hassle with picking up keys, just dogital code, super easy by my opinion. It had everything i was looking for , spacious, great location, very nice building. We felt really safe. I would definitely stay again. I have nothing bad to say. It exceeded my expectations.

"Gorgeous flats, atrocious air con / heating system and sudden leaks are a massive let down"

Gorgeous building, flat 10 was a lovely large space with a small outdoor terrace and plenty of storage space. Comfortable furniture. I liked that my room was large and it had an en-suite. The beds are double and my sister found hers to be very comfy. Very clean, washer dryer was great, lived the kitchen as we could cook for ourselves, saving money on eating out. Love that it’s in a gated community and that there is an intercom plus electronic front door locking system.

The air con / cooling system is complex to use properly and made our week a misery, especially at night. It was too humid and hot. I already have hot sweats from my cancer treatment so it was tricky. The flooding from an air vent in the sliding door wardrobe in the small bedroom which soaked my sisters belongings the day before check-out was grim and the cold customer services response was depressing. They did offer us to move into another room but it was late by the time I saw the email and we were exhausted from packing and dealing with the leak. Customer services could do with having a more compassionate phone manner and booking a time slot for the engineer to visit us, as he did need to show us how to use the air cooling (it stopped working several hours later). We are not on holiday but living away from home during a stressful refurbishment and paying from our own pockets. On top my sister and I both have cancer and I get hit with exhaustion at times owing to treatment. No extractor fans working in bathrooms. It’s Russian roulette as our stay in flat 9 in May was pretty good, mainly as weather was cooler and dry and we didn’t need to engage with the air con system.
