The Stroud Hotel

Room was good & staff excellent

We had a wonderful stay here. Henry was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us. The room was nicely furnished and had everything we needed including a good shower and a comfortable bed.

The hotel was lovely. The room was a bit hot, and the wifi wasn’t great, but the staff were superior and the restaurant and food were great.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, town centre next to railway station, good vibe, had a really nice stay, Stroud and the Cotswolds are beautiful.

Lovely, happy and very helpful staff really made my visit. The renovation has made positive changes under the new owners / management. The addition of the external bar/ restaurant area is good. Great location for walking around Stroud as a town hotel and useful location as a base to explore South Gloucestershire. The restaurant menus could be cleaner though.

Really nicely refurbished Hotel. Great service from the warm welcome by Christina at reception to the Bar staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. The room was a good size, quiet, clean and fresh with a very large comfortable bed. I come from the area so remember the Hotel as it used to be, and the new owners have done a fantastic job breathing life back into it. Highly recommended. Thanks

The Butterfly Suite was amazing. Staff were all very kind and friendly. We had a perfect stay.

Newly refurbished, lovely room - overlooked station so occasional rumble from trains. Great food in attached restaurant and bar (open to public, obviously popular). Helpful reception staff but: tiny, uninviting reception area, closes at 8pm. Car park: free nut not enough spaces, adjacent station car park charges £5:60, not refunded by hotel (arbitrary extra gor some - unacceptable, caused minor friction at reception so not fair on staff either).

The service from the receptionist was brilliant great customer service . Nice room clean tidy very modern.
