J&V Hotel and Resort

I like the upgraded room that was given to us since it was free from booking.com. It was good to know that the hotel was just constructed 1 year ago which means it's still new. The staff can assist in carrying the luggage. They are approachable too for your needs. The hotel can accommodate room service for massage.

The overall smell of the room is like a newly constructed cement that sticks to your clothes. It was Sunday afternoon when my mom and I checked in so they scheduled their pest control that evening, which very untimely. It triggered my allergy in my throat that I didn't sleep well that evening. No elevator for seniors like my mom. The breakfast is one platter only, you can't ask for another one, limited choice too. The location is quite far from city center. No phone service that you need to go down the lobby if you need something from the staff.

Environment ( noisy and uncleanliness)

Bed mattress was hard, tv not working, leaky sink, I was not able to sleep because next door was so noisy until 4AM . It felt like I was sleeping inside a karaoke bar. Swimming pool is next to our room but no access from the room and kids swimming were loud early morning.

The pool was amazing. The room was clean and spacious. Staff was professional and attractive. The daily breakfast was traditional for the Philippines and delicious.

Only warm water in the shower most days but good pressure.

It was well situated just off the main highway, so the transport from the bus was not very expensive at 50 PHP on a trike

There’s nothing I dislike about this property. The staff were really helpful and informative.

Location is accessible to a lot of places

Our room was never cleaned during our stay. Bathroom sink smells like sewer. During the duration of our stay, our sheets and pillow cases were never changed.
