The Falls - Value Rooms at Aultnagar Estate

Perfect stay at the falls. The overall location is faithful to the offer. the room was perfect. Also, the common places were great: living room with games, and pool.

Still in renovation - the studio was supposed to be renovated but it’s done very poorly - bed wasn’t comfortable - windows aren’t windproof - room was cold (had to take the electric fire out of the hallway to heat the room a little more) - had to search for the ‘big kitchen’ to find the fridge - no instructions in the room on where to find the kitchen - there was nobody around to ask for help - no WiFi connection - very pricy for what we got

The price was the best for 2 nights and it had an old haunted mansion feel but not scary. They had a kitchen also with bottled water, kettles and cutlery etc.

The beds were not the most comfortable, maybe need new matreeses.

That I could come as I like, and the use of the kit hen

No real information, or interaction with staff. It appears quite run-down, a shame for such a lovely old building

Nice setting, lovely view and large room. Bed was comfy and room nice and warm, especially for such a large house. Managed to bag a last minute deal so I felt the price for 3 nights was value for money.

The shower was very basic and it took 5 mins for any hot water to flow through. With the estate being far off the beaten track I didn't expect too many 'home comforts' but I would suggest upgrading the showers if possible.

Where to start! Wallpaper pealing, no shower curtain or solid door type system. Kitchen was lacking in every way possible and the room was basically a bed and that’s it! The Kettle in the kitchen was black. No hot water in the kitchen to wash dishes with etc. Certainly nothing like the impression it gives with the cover photo!!

Location, rustic feel, quiet

Interesting but very tired building. Freezing cold except our bedroom with an electric heater. No hot water except for the electric shower. Basic shared self catering kitchen. Had to avoid the Peacock poo outside the front door. Aynsley very helpful and friendly.

Room 14, triple - Fulfilled our need perfectly - very quiet, great walks for dogs from door, comfy beds, plenty of room, room warmed before we got there, helpful manager.
