Pinfold Cottage York

Excellent stay at Pinfold Cottage. We stayed one night in a very comfy, clean and quiet double room with a private bathroom. We came by car and it's literally 10 minutes away from York centre, so location wise it was really convenient. Excellent breakfast with all we needed like coffee, tea, cereals, fruits and more! Super friendly host available to help or give recommendations for places to eat or to visit in town. Overall it exceeded our expectations. Recommended to everyone who wants a quiet place and not too far away.

The atmosphere was absolutely perfect! The breakfast room is adorable, I loved how homely it felt. Staying in the cottage made me feel so much more at ease for my first time in York. The room was perfectly comfortable, the tv was adjustable, the bathroom clean and spotless, the water pressure was lovely, the room amenities and the free snacks were awesome. There was a fan in the room too, which I loved, since I usually can't sleep without some sort of breeze or background noise. I can't rate my stay highly enough, and it was so quick and easy to get to the city centre, I absolutely want to stay here again. Even if I only need to go to York for the day, I am so happy to stay even just one night here because I truly felt so relaxed and happy. I think this is easily going to become one of my most favourite spots.

The only thing that was a little inconvenient was that one of the sockets was too low to the ground so we couldn't use it. It just made charging things a little bit more of a hassle but honestly, I really don't mind this at all because everything else was just so lovely.

Nothing was too much trouble for Jack & Ellie! Would definitely stay with them again!

We hebben hier 2 nachten heerlijk geslapen. We moesten de laatste nacht al om 6:00 uur weg en Jack is speciaal voor ons opgestaan om take away coffee voor ons te maken en had graag nog eten meegegeven. Dit zegt eigenlijk al alles over de service.

This bnb was SO lovely - Jack and Ellie made the whole stay really comfy and enjoyable the whole time, plus they’re both really lovely people. I really looked forward to coming back to my room every night through my stay. The breakfast was very nice they had lots of fresh fruit and yogurts and cereal etc. and nice coffee. This place was such a good find.

Great location & very comfortable room. Lots of choice for breakfast ! Plus extra snacks .. Jack was a very helpful host .

Couldn’t find any faults

Fantastic stay lovely and friendly Jac the guy who runs the B&B was very helpful always on hand if you needed anything. Would recommend it to everybody looking to stay in York.

Great location. Jack was super friendly as soon as we arrived and felt at home straight away. Very knowledgeable and helpful about the area and where to go. Kitchen was really well stocked for everything we would want for our stay. Great amenities in the room, very clean and comfortable Would definitely recommend a stay and we can't wait to go back

Fabulous place to stay. The host, Jack, was outstanding , nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice on offer (fresh fruit - strawberries, melon, raspberries, etc. - selection of cereals, loads of different teas). Plus, a help yourself snack cupboard - amazing! We will be back for sure.
