Location was perfect on the Weald Way. Beautiful decor and super clean in the room. Great meal in the pub.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, with excellent facilities that make your stay feel both relaxed and indulgent. What truly makes this place special are the owners, Jayne and Colin. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for their guests create an atmosphere that feels personal and welcoming. Dog lovers will be especially delighted — this is a place where four-legged companions are treated like honoured guests. A wonderful stay in a stunning location, and a place you’ll want to return to.

The only addition that would complete the comfort factor would be a bed side table

Fine,Nice staff good modern bathroom and comfortable stay.

Difficulty with blinds in room and minor design issues in bedroom such as mirror too high on wall to be useful.

"Lovely place to stay especially for Glyndebourne. Breakfast maybe not the best aspect."

We enjoyed our stay in this pub full of beautiful art and history. Spotlessly clean which we really appreciated.

Breakfast took a long time - supposedly started at 8.30 but nobody wanted to take an order for 10 to 15 minutes even though they knew we were waiting. Toast very poor (hot bread) and mushrooms oozed water all over the plate. Such a shame as we really wanted to give every aspect 10 out of 10 but the breakfast let the rest down.

"Great place to stay for the Long Man walk and brewery!"

Great location for the Long Man walk and brewery. Rooms were nice, cosy and clean. Good breakfast and friendly/ helpful staff on the whole. We did have a rather odd interaction with one of the members of staff while we were trying to eat our dinner but overall we had a good experience staying at The Long Man Inn and it was very convenient for our Long Man Brewery Tour.

The food at dinner wasn't the best but breakfast was very nice.

Loved the area and the food absolutely outstanding. Room was beautiful, comfy and clean, and the en-suite beautifully decorated. Could just do with a bit more shelf space!

Friendly, welcoming hosts. Cosy atmosphere. Fresh, stylish room. Slightly quirky property.

NOT a dislike as such, but my preference would have been for a firmer mattress.
