Beautifully redesigned interior with fresh colours and period furniture. We loved all the details such as the books and real art work by local artists in the bedroom. Lovely bar and good breakfast with a great display of art on the theme of the Long Man. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for visiting The Long Man and Lewes.

Das Badezimmer war geräumig, freundlich und sauber.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat nicht gestimmt. Das Doppelbett war für 2 Personen viel zu schmal, es hat bei jeder Bewegung gequietscht, die Matratze hing durch. In der Ecke, in der das Frühstück serviert wurde, hat es stark nach Hunde- oder Katzenurin gerochen. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt nicht angenehm.

"A lovely location in a great part of the country. The room was lovely with nice furnishings."

I had the smashed avocado with roasted tomatoes and poached eggs which was delicious! My friend had the scrambled eggs and asked for extra tomatoes and mushrooms which were not charged for which was unexpected.

The bed was very squeaky! I did mention to the staff in the morning who said they would look into it.

"würde im long man auch gerne zwei wochen ferien macen."

das long man inn liegt perfekt in der nähe der seven sisters und glyndebourne-festival. das zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über ein schönes und grosses bad. die gastgeber und das personal sind sehr freundlich. das morgen-, sowie das nachtessen ist traditional britisch und sehr lecker. die gegend ist auch ideal zum biken.

wer gerne ein weiches bett hat, kommt hier auf seine kosten.

Loved the way the pictures, books and decor echoed the location… it gave it a lot of character and an interesting place to be. The rooms were very comfortable. We went on a lovely walk from the Long Man Inn. A very enjoyable visit.
