The Boulevard Inn

We loved our stay at the Boulevard. We stayed there on our way south to Florida. The inn is a lovely old house which they beautifully restored. There was someone working when we arrived late in the afternoon and he helped us by taking bags from the car up to the room. There is a parking lot behind the house. We enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese, and were surprised at how good the wine was. The inn is located two blocks from Cary Street where there are many restaurants. Breakfast was very good. There was a buffet where fruit was available, and the host made baked eggs. We split the order which was more than enough for my wife and I. The bonus at breakfast was the coffee machine where you could have a cappuccino or a latte. We would stay again.

This was our second stay at the Boulevard Inn, and it did not disappoint. It’s an elegant but comfortable home where we feel like happy guests. There are so many details we appreciate: the fine linens and towels, the excellent breakfast, the evening wine and cheese, even the window coverings and furnishings that make it all comfortable. This will remain our extra home in Richmond when we visit our son.

Enjoyed staying at the Boulevard Inn where the interior design is beautiful (not fuddy duddy old fashioned). Clean, modern bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant reservations. Breakfast was good too. Near the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Always a great stay! This is the perfect inn if you're traveling I95 or just for fun. The inn is beautifully decorated, the hosts very gracious, and the food just wonderful. Don't miss it!

We chose the Boulevard Inn for its location at the center of RVA's cultural universe. A quick walk to VMFA, the quirky stores of Cary Town and the small neighborhood restaurants we love. We'll come back for the outstanding service and attention to detail Mitch and Roni bring to the space. The room was a perfect balance of luxe and comfort. Our breakfast was outstanding compared to the usual B&B fare. So nice to relax in the library upstairs after a busy day.

A beautifully restored and furnished home with immaculately clean rooms. .our room was small, but had a very comfortable king size bed , terrific bathroom and lovely eclectic furnishings. We just returned from a 3 night visit to Richmond for a family gathering and were lucky enough to obtain a room in this wonderful inn. The staff and serve was amazing, great breakfasts with pastries, fresh fruit, and egg dish offerings.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Boulevard Inn. The place is absolutely beautiful and with the right of amount of historical decor with updated finished. Mitch and Roni couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with; from the welcome you receive to the goodbyes after a lovely breakfast. I would absolutely recommend The Boulevard Inn for your next stay while traveling to/through Richmond, VA.
