Nirvana Hotel

Great little motel within walking distance of what we needed

Lighting in room needs improvement. Lights by bed are weird. But loved everything else.

Although the room was very clean the overall property was not great. Staff was very helpful before I arrived with answering questions etc. but the desk had limited hours and even when it was supposed to be open the door was locked, and no one was there. There was very little place to store clothing and personal items. The place gave off more of a "rent by the hour" vibe than a hotel vibe. I stayed only one night of my five nights reservation before moving to another hotel because I did not feel comfortable staying here.

Nice and cozy place

A lovely little hotel / motel if you are not looking to stay in a casino, which we were not. Close to Harry Reid airport. Very clean, nice, and communicative staff. No frills but great for what we were looking for. We were able to walk over to the Mandalay Bay for dinner and had a yummy breakfast at the Egg Spot next door.

Cute little motel. Taxis did not know where it was and it’s a bit hard to stop. It’s walking distance to the mirage where went for a concert. Overall I’d stay again. Affordable and convenient location if in Vegas for a short time.

Liked the vintage feel of the property. The rooms were very clean, the bathrobes were a nice touch. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Location is good - just on the end of the Strip. Would recommend.

A striking contrast to Mandalay Bay hulking overhead across the street, The Nirvana is a fun throwback to roadtrip motels, but without the seedy vibe. Great staff, clean rooms, free parking (what the heck?!), and a fun little breakfast joint make this spot a perfect stay for those on a budget. Walkable from the South Strip but not in the middle of the pandemonium. Would stay there again.

Very well run hotel. Great location. Clean and well maintained albeit dated. Glad it us available for tourists.

As I embark upon my next vacation to Vegas, I am ensuring I input my usual research into where I'm going to stay, versus going with my intuition. The price was right, this is on the strip, the guest rating was a 9.1, and it's called "Nirvana" (I'm Gen X!).

The Nirvana is the best-kept secret in Las Vegas. A cute little motel-style hotel across the Strip from the Mandalay Bay, with no resort fees or parking fees. It's family-run, and the owners are friendly and helpful. We've stayed there several times and have had a great experience each time. Highly recommend!
