Sonder at Skyline

It was a nice property and clean and in order. I would have like to have known up front that there is no available parking and that there was a daily charge to use what was available. I had a difficult time finding the room (my kids and walked all around the building at the end of a long day of travel) and was sent to the wrong room by one of the customer service agents when I called their helpline. The agent who was the MOST HELPFUL WITH THE PROCESS AND WHO MADE THE DIFFERENCE FOR US STAYING after our frustrating check-in process and finding the room was MAE! She deserves some HUGE KUDOS. Had she not helped the way she did I was ready to cancel the room and find a new place to stay. All that said Sonder was clean, well kept and secure. I was comfortable staying there with my kids. If I have to choose to stay in Denver again I will keep Sonder on my list.

Would not stay at this Sonder again

I booked and paid for a room with a balcony. My room did not have a balcony. The concierge at the hotel said she would submit a request that the additional charge for the balcony would be refunded to me. I received my bank statement for the refund, which has not been credited to my account.

It’s a shame when they build such a beautiful building and then spend so little money training staffing and managing the building. The few interactions we had with staff were substandard. When I am standing in front of a person operating a desk and they’re looking at their phone finishing their text message and then look up and offer to help me, not great. The staff let us know that they were out of body soap and had been for some time. They offered a bar of soap that was an inch square. The elevator would not open in the lobby, they recommended going down a floor and walking back up the stairs. One of the outlets in our room was not operational. The last five years of traveling this was without a doubt our worst experience and we will definitely not be using Sonder going forward.

New and clean property. Good location for our purposes. Pool and games area was nice.

Was missing a sink plug in the kitchen so that would have be good when we wanted to clean dishes. Didn’t realize that there was access to additional coffee and sugar so perhaps include a note in the suite advising of that.

The hotel was fine. But the hotel tried to double charge me. The stay was paid for through hotels.com during booking. The Sonder charged me again on the last day of my stay. Makes me hesitate to stay in a Sonder hotel again.

Modern , clean appartment in convinient location.

Had an issue with digital lock - only working once in 15-20 tries or not at all. Had to go through lengthy (20+ min) wait time and not very helpfull conversation with remote support person. Once local (in-building) support guy was finally engaged, the issue was resolved - got a fob. It would be very helpfull to get access to local person right away (i.e. get his phone number posted) as you way not necessarily have 30 minutes to get through in case of emergency. Also, electrical outlets in the bedroom were located in the most inconvinient places, i.e. beyond mirror or in the middle of the corridor.

Convenient and pleasant for the price. Room smelt musky though.

Great property. Close enough to walk into downtown. Easy 15 min walk to mile high. I would definitely stay here again.
