Sonder Onyx

This apartment was so trendy and fully stocked. All appliances were state of the art. High cielings, great lighting, plenty of mirrors. Only thing I can think of that could have been added is a second supply of towels. But I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Amenities are great...we can cook and all. It's almost like being home away from home. Cozy.

There are no staff around to ask assistance from.

The space and layout of the flat and the equipment in it are all fine

This flat overlooks a major road junction and is near a motorway but the sound insulation is totally inadequate. It means that road noise is present all the time. The fact that earplugs were provided is indicative! This flat should be taken off the market until proper soundproof windows are installed.

The apartment was exactly as pictured: stunning, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. It featured a high-end kitchen and bathroom, integrated heating, and a breathtaking view. The location was excellent, conveniently close to City Hall, JFK Park, and Reading Market. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the apartment was spotless. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with pots, pans, and plates, made cooking during our stay a breeze. The heating system was excellent, keeping us warm and cozy despite visiting during snowy days. I was initially concerned about noise based on other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Traffic noise was minimal, and we didn’t need earbuds to sleep peacefully. A couple of minor areas for improvement: 1. There was a device (possibly a smoke alarm) that beeped intermittently throughout the day, which was a bit distracting. 2. The heating worked perfectly in the living room but wasn’t as effective in the bedroom. These were small annoyances that didn’t significantly impact our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

This is our second time staying at Onyx in Philadelphia and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern, with all the amenities we needed, including kitchen utensils and washing machine. Service was great as well. We had a problem with the sofa bed and the help center was very responsive even on a Friday night. They arranged for a replacement first thing on Saturday morning.

This is my second stay at Onyx and it is a very convenient location for me because it is close to my family when I'm visiting the city. The accommodations are great because you have a complete apartment, not just a hotel room. I had a little bit of trouble checking in early but it was resolved fairly quickly but that's why I'm only giving 4 stars. I'll definitely stay at a Sonder property again, probably at the Onyx!

The apartment was beautiful and within easy walking distance of everything. The view was spectacular. The terrace would be lovely when the weather is warmer. I am already planning another trip. There are only 2 things to be aware of: 1) unloading luggage is challenging, there isn't really a good place to park 2) be aware that the main bed is a double and not a queen.

Onyx was amazing! Great and safe location that’s in center city. I checked in the night before on the app with my info and it was seamless. The building and room itself was beautiful and very clean. The fully stocked apartment was impressive and convenient. It wasn’t very loud and a comfortable stay, I slept comfortably. Mobile key was a plus and never got lost!

The Sonder Onyx is roomy, modern, and beautifully appointed with a full kitchen decked out with all the latest appliances, including a washer/dryer. While the location isn't great, the floor to ceiling windows give way to beautiful captions of greenery. A nearby parking lot made it convenient to get in and out of the city as the building is steps away from major travel arteries.
