Meltzers Apartments

Walkable, fully equipped, but little stairs to the third floor and no blackouts much needed on this time of the year! Very communicative owners.

The apartment was just like stated on the website. Great location easy to get around. Clean, comfortable, close to grocery store & train station. Would stay again.

Spacious, great location, well equipped, comfortable, good wifi.

Second bedroom was very, very small. Really not ok for a couple. We also had to make up our own beds. This is not a great welcome. I would expect beds to be made ready for guests. An extractor fan in bathroom would be helpful.

Great location for exploring the city

The stairs in the apartment that went downstairs to 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom were very steep.

Beautifully decorated - very elegant. Spacious for a family of four. Everything worked well apart from minor issues with a couple of blinds. Very clean and fresh. Cosy with good heating. Very comfortable beds and sofa. Easy walk to centre of town. Convenience store a 2 minute walk away. Plenty of dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, laundry pods, kitchen roll in apartment. Nothing for annoying than having to buy 40 plus dishwasher tabs when you only need 2. Very quiet area. No night noise at all.

More bedding would have been nice - blankets or extra duvets. Bit skimpy on bedding. Apartment was not cold, we just prefer to sleep in a cooler room with more bedding. Kitchen is very small, even for making very basic meals. Storage wasn’t the best and nowhere to put food in kitchen. Would have found a mop/swiffer handy for wet boots in the hall. Having to make up beds on arrival is strange compared to other places, but we knew in advance and this seems to be a standard thing in Bergen.

location is good, walkable to main attractions.

The room is on the 4th floor, without lift, with big luggage, it's hard for woman to bring to our room. Even inside room, there is additional stairs....It's really big challenge for us. As guest, we were required to put sheet and quilt cover on the bed by our own, we found hairs on the bed, maybe other quests left.
