Meltzers Apartments

This two bedroom apartment is superb. Located in a lovely building with secure entry. 8 min walk to the bus or train station. 5 min walk to Bergen town centre. Supermarket and smaller convenience stores very close by. All easy to get to. It’s really comfortably furnished and has everything needed for a home from home. Communicating with the hosts was very easy and replies were very prompt.

There are stairs to get from entrance hallway up to the apartment. There is no lift. Not many stairs but they could be a challenge to anyone with mobility issues.

Too far from main part of city. One room is incredibly small. Steep stairway to apartment.

Kitchen utensils are complete.

No toiletries provided. Guest has to put on linens cover & remove it before check out. This should be part of housekeeping service as cleaning service fees is being charge in addition to apartment rate .

Lovely apartment, reasonably priced, in a good location. Luggage storage area was a huge bonus as we had a late ferry departure from Bergen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a very minor quibble, and would certainly not affect our rating or our intention to stay here again, but we were a little surprised at having to make up the beds.

Convenient, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. So close to center city and Bryggen. We were really grateful for the hosts to leave us few starters, like paper towels and laundry soap. So we didn’t have to worry about it when we arrived and moved in.
