Meltzers Apartments

Excellent location, well equipped including toaster and kettle! Very clean and tidy, comfortable beds. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes close by,

Not the apartment's fault but Saturday night in Bergen can be a little noisy!

The apartment was lovely and seemed newly done. The beds were comfortable, the instruction booklet was informative, the kitchen was well stocked. It was a quiet neighborhood and close to restaurants and public transportation.

We have no complaints.

We loved our stay. The place was super clean, comfortable, & well-equipped. The washer-dryer worked great. The showers had great water pressure & easily adjustable temperature. The beds were also comfortable! The guidelines/instructions for the stay were straightforward and easy (including check-in & check-out)! We were very satisfied with everything!

We had absolute no issues with the place, but it might be helpful for others to know that there are stairs to two of the bedrooms. Again, not a problem for us, but it would be good to know for anyone with mobility issues.

We enjoyed the kitchen space, use of stove and refrigerator. We liked watching a movie and the beds were comfortable.

The strip on the refrigerator was broken and hit us each time we opened the refrigerator door. A shower mat would have been helpful as water leaked from the shower . More hooks in the bedroom with a closet would be appreciated. Places to hang wet towels.

There was no laundry detergent in the apartment

The apartment was an easy entry with a door code and a lockbox for the key. We were on the 3rd floor accessible by short, steep, and winding stairs- not a problem for us but our aging parents needed to take care. The apartment was clean and there was a grocery store nearby. The walk to the bus stop was about 9 minutes, but the bus only saved you about 3 stops to the Bryggen area. The laundry facilities were located in the bathroom for ease of use. The apartment was on the smaller side but still very doable for 2 nights.

The stairs could be a problem for children or older adults. One bedroom was good sized but the 2nd bedroom was a tight fit- you needed to crawl into bed as there was no room on either side of the bed for walking.
