Apartment - Sleeps 2 - Parking - Wi-fi

Really useful for a quiet overnight stay. Very convenient location for an early start to take part in the Reading Half Marathon the next morning. Had pretty much everything I needed. No direct communication with the hosts but everything was very straightforward. I would certainly consider staying again.

The only downside was the parking space outside the annex was taken when I arrived (previous guest?) even though I arrived after 4pm. Because I didn't know when the owner of the car was leaving, I had to pay for overnight parking at the hotel opposite, adding to the costs of my stay.

Lovely location and annex

We have arrived to this accomodation at 1am. There weren't any parking left despite the accomodation being advertised with free parking so we ended up paying for parking which was a let down. The property was freezing cold when we entered (5 degrees in the living room, kitchen and bathroom and around 10 degrees in the bedroom) with no means to adjust this. We messaged the property but we only got a dismissive reply in the morning saying that ''the heater is on automatic timing'' and that ''2am was too late for them to reply''. In summary, the accomodation is in a good location but the advert is misleading; there is no free parking and it isn't at all cosy during winter.
