The Desolation Hotel Hope Valley provided all amenities of a modern hotel with over-the-top service! The views, comfortable bed and old-fashioned tub made our stay really wonderful. The staff even provided ice for our cooler! I highly recommend this hotel.

Front desk lady was very nice and respectful, the cook with the hair wrapped up in the bar and grill was super unprofessional, condescending and rude. Will come back but won’t step foot in that bar and grill.

All I can say is WOW!! Fabulous trip all around!! Staff, location, accommodation!! The Yurt was amazing. It rained and there was lighting. The Yurt has a ceiling had a sky light. So we not only dry and safe from the elements but we also got a nature show. This was definitely a way to be removed from the crazy rat race of life!! Would recommend everyone give an Yurt stay a try 😄

Very disappointed that I did not pick up on the amenities of NO refrigerator, microwave or hanging area for clothes other than hooks on the wall. These are basic necessities
