Desolation Hotel Hope Valley

The cabin was super clean and had everything that you would need (plates, cups, water, and coffee). Even with how cold it was outside, it stayed warm and cozy inside. It was nice that the cafe was just a walk outside the cabin.

One suggestion would be to add an outlet on the nightstands. The lights outside the cabin were super bright, even with the blinds closed.

Hope Valley yurt number seven. Really nice accommodations. Room was amazing. Clean clean clean . Pillow sheets and comforter were amazing. Was quiet and peaceful.Loved so much. Good price for the time. Food and bar wasn’t too expensive delicious. Management was awesome. Great friendly staff.. pet friendly was great

The cabin was very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, enjoyed the sauna and robes and complementary coffee.

The restaurant dinner is meh and expensive for what you get.

We loved our stay in the cozy creekside cabin, it was the perfect mix of classic cabin with a tasteful modern touch. It had all the elements that keep you present in good company while your camping but all the amenities to keep you comfortable, warm, and pampered. Their complimentary, private sauna with your stay was absolutely the cherry on top. Everything was very clean and their staff were friendly and helpful. Sapphire was so warm and welcoming while helping us pick which cabin would be best suited for our needs. We will be happy to come back in the future!

Everything was awesome, the cabin super cozy and comfy. The hotel territory is nice and well-maintained, wood sauna and cafe is a huge plus! There is a trail right by the hotel (with some elevation), Lake Tahoe is in about 20 min driving. The price also is very reasonable especially if you go during weekdays

Dry air because of the heater - would recommend to bring air humidifier if you have sensitive nose But overall our experience was awesome

We enjoyed our stay at the Desolation Hotel - Hope Valley during our fall leaf peeping road trip! The cabin was well-equipped and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the attentive service and friendly attitude of Kaylee and Sapphire at the Front Desk and the free sauna session included in the reservation!
