Desolation Hotel Hope Valley

Spent christmas here with my husband in the st nick cabin. Felt like living in a snow globe dream. Perfect christmas. Cabin was so cozy and had a warm shower and convenient kitchen. Very good for the cost

My family stayed in the Knotty Pines cabin for the holidays. It was the first time all of my adult children were together for Christmas in a couple of years . It was the most amazing and memorable experience! The staff was extremely kind, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect! We will be making this an annual tradition!

We stayed in the St. Nick’s cabin for two nights. The staff was always cheerful and accommodating. They helped us start a nice fire outside in the cutely holiday decorated communal area before a wonderful dinner at the on site restaurant; Sorenson’s. The cabin was perfect for the two us us and our well behaved husky, A cool, shower, upstairs bedroom and plenty of room in the well stocked cabin. Cute and Clean!

We love this place so much. This was our 5th trip to Desolation Hotel Hope Valley formerly Sorensen’s resort. The staff is thoughtful and accommodations are so warm and cozy. The location is beautiful. And it’s so convenient. The restaurant is right on the property. The food is so good! Make this place a new tradition! You will be blessed.

It’s our first yurt stay but we loved it! We stayed at Yurt 4 and fell in love with how beautiful it was with all the amenities from bathroom/shower/tub/coffee, king size comfortable bed, outside weber grill and wood fire pit! They also include a 45 min private sauna session and have multiple cabins ! The cafe and grill were both great !!Location was beautiful especially at night and close to hiking trail ! Staff were so friendly and helpful ! We are going to make a trip here a yearly tradition🥰

Had an amazing stay here. The staff were wonderful and there were plenty of amenities. We also reserved a time for the sauna which was really great!

Loved Tis place but the food in the cafe needs work. The “42 year old recipe” for beef stew tasted like it was 42 years old. Other than that -it was perfect! Loved the cabin
