Mulberry Aparthotel

Unfortunately, my experience staying at this property was below par. Two main issues, when I arrived the apartment (1) smelt terribly of damp, probably mainly to do with the fact that no windows were able to open. I also found the apartment to feel quite unsafe, with the main building door only supported by a very wobbly Yale and an emergency exit fire door from one of the bedrooms straight outside which is also felt very unsafe during the night. With these two main problems, there was also a major issue with the WiFi. I was there for over a week and unless there was nobody else in any of the other apartments, it disconnected all the time and couldn't use it to video call stream online or watch anything on the TV either. I think overall it would be fine for groups having a get together for a night or two but apart from that, my experience (of apartment 1 anyway) was not a good one for a longer stay.

We booked this on booking.com and had no idea that I had to send off my license. I paid the deposit before hand as that was stated but when we arrived at the hotel we found that the doors were locked and couldn’t get in. There was no sign or no message received saying that the keys were in the locked box. It took us quite a bit of time just to figure out that they needed my license before giving me the code which as I said had not been clearly explained to me before. Eventually we got in. It is a nice cosy place and is very good for a group of people, but there were places where towel rails were hanging off the walls and there were very dusty places in certain parts of the hotel. If everything was explained to me better before I arrived then I would rate it higher.
