Great location right by the Tower and that's it!!

Only stayed 2 nights thank god and just about managed that. The hallway smelt of damp, it was tired and dirty, the wallpaper was falling off the walls, the stairs were unsteady on certain steps and the carpet was dirty. The rooms were dark and dingy, not very clean at all and the carpet was disgusting. The shower was dirty and there was no hot water in the bathroom, had to use the sink in the kitchen to have a wash.. The bedding was clean but on closer inspection all the quilts (inside the quilt cover) were covered in hair! There were marks on all the furniture and the blinds didn't work. In one of the rooms you could hear someone using the toilet in the room next door, absolutely vile!! To top it off I had to pay a £100 deposit to cover any breakages!! What a joke, you wouldn't even notice anyway if you did break something! And it took 30 days to get it back! All in all a very unpleasant stay, will not be returning and I highly recommend you avoid it at all cost unless you like slumming it!

We opened the door and it was still occupied by some one else. The owner gave us another room but it was smaller. The building smelled like smoke and booze. And smelled damp. It was dirty. There was mould in the shower. The shelf above the toilet/sink was filthy with a dead plant on it. Mirror was dirty. Dirty microwave. Loose wires/extension leads trailing around the room. Extension lead hanging from the tv above the bed.

The hygiene was shocking. I’ve never had to leave a bad review for a place we stayed in before so I do feel bad however I feel I need to be honest As you walk in the place was grubby , wall paper hanging off . Carpets where dirty and needed hoovering, As you enter your room it smells clean and looks clean at first glance but it’s not . Doors where filthy , again carpets where filthy to the point we couldn’t take our socks off . Kitchen handed been wiped over and microwave still had food left inside . Sink hasn’t been cleaned nor the taps . Fridge was dirty . Windows were black had bits all Over the windowsill One window was broken no handle and was stuck open so the room was absolutely freezing which wasn’t ideal this time of year or with a 2 year old . Even had to wear my jacket to bed! Shower hadn’t been cleaned either . Bedroom was filthy Hair on bedding No curtains blinds only so had all the light come in as the one door was wedged behind the single bed Beds were uncomfortable. Towels were small , thin and rough Paint chipped in the walls Nothing looked presentable or clean or even cozy at all You pay £100 for a stay and expect it to be warm and cozy . The place was loud in the evening too The first night who ever stayed above is whether it was guests or staff which I assume we staff as we didn’t see anyone else there. They were on the phone shouting gone midnight then had tv blaring and music playing till 5am And then 2nd night was similar but not as loud . Didn’t see anyone else there staff when we left either just texted them to say we had gone It was that bad that in the 2nd night when we took some bits back to the car to save hassle next morning we stood debating whether to just drive home at 9pm And we travelled 4/5 hours for this trip.
