Chaquacabana Resort & Beach Club

Literally the definition of lipstick on a pig. The pool area is very nice and relaxing however the rooms are a complete waste of money. Ants everywhere, no internet, the tvs wifi connection had been turned off, broken closets, the safe didn’t even work. When we notified the staff about the ant they took our own bug spray and sprayed our room with it. There’s no breakfast as advertised and after we complained a 2nd time, the staff disabled our key card so we couldn’t get back into the room. We ended up checking out early and have yet to hear about our refund status

Opposite the entrance to the resort there was a dilapidated building. The staff at reception was not very inviting, he was stressed and I had to ask for a smile! The bathroom had a leak so after a shower the water was all over the bathroom floor and no Internet in the room. On a positive note, the view, food, bar tender and serving staff absolutely brilliant! Fantastic place but needs to be maintained all the time.

Room was nice and comfortable. We appreciated the microwave & the nice size refrigerator. The tv never worked and we had trouble with Wi-Fi. If we stayed here again I’d ask for a room further back to avoid the street noise. We were in the first row of rooms behind the gate.

This resort is a complete false advertisement. This place is DIRTY. The WiFi they provide do NOT work. The outlets on the wall did not work they were loose my charger kept falling out. They only have 1 dirty pool which had quarters and dirt floating around the pool which made me not even get in the pool. They have NO swim up bar. 1 POOL AND 1 Jacuzzi. The staff are UNPROFESSIONAL & have attitude. The food 2/10 I had a shrimp cocktail and it was absolutely disgusting and overprice. I will NOT recommend this resort to NO ONE. Do not come here! Waste of MONEY, VERY unsanitary!!!!!

The property was nice. A little more emphasis should be place on upkeep. Have grounds staff and maintenance so the wait time is not too long to have a little more flow in the process. Get more staff and have a shift system. Also market the place more cause the environment is really nice. The food was excellent. Overall a nice experience

Property is mediocre, do not go to the restaurant warm drinks after an hr wait. And another hr to get the bill. Appetizers just never came.. management you can do better I am sure. There’s much potential, wishing uou the best.

They wifi did not work sadly and I would recommend they put a tv in the bedroom

The property is ok. Not the cleanest but not bad. No real beach and not much food. The real problem was sporadic and mostly not functioning WiFi.

Beautiful surroundings and excellent service Safe environment friendly staff and tasty breakfast

Cabanas are clean, up to date and refreshing.
