Ikos Porto Petro

What an amazing place. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed by Emma and Masimo the feeling of family was overwhelming. These two young people were a very good sample of the whole staff at these brilliant hotel. The genuine willingness to help and make guests feel welcome and comfortable is so evident. The hotel room we had was everything we could have wished for, a sea view, sounds of waves and a sunrise to die for, to watch the sun get out of bed was just so unbelievable. The quality of this hotel complex is everything they advertise, the only missing subject was the 300 different bottles of wine to make your choice from. Even after asking the Sommelier for the wine list that introduced our taste buds to the amazing selection, could not help! We even went to the wine tasting experience and were only introduced to 4 wines, with no mention of the hugely advertised selection. The quality of food, service, furnishings and care are so evident everywhere you go. Having used hotels all over the world, it is very hard to find a hotel that doesn’t have at least one member of staff who is having a bad day, this hotel could not be included in any list. It is very noticeable that the staff are genuinely happy and have a future in hospitality for their future employment. The whole stay blew us away with its quality. The final icing on the cake was to be waved goodbye by the attentive and friendly Masimo. We will be trying more Ikos in future, but we will also be back to this wonderful find, if only to reintroduce our selves to the staff who have become friends. Thank you Ikos, we have found our Caribbean Quality in Europe.

Unbelievable place. Might be the best all inclusive in the world.

We are simply thrilled with our recent stay at Ikos hotel! Everything was perfect — cozy rooms, excellent service, very friendly staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. We especially want to express our heartfelt thanks to our concierge, Katerina🌺🌺🌺Thanks to her attentiveness and professionalism in organizing the fishing trip for our son, our little holiday was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Thank you for her thoughtfulness, help, and warm attitude! We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to all our friends and acquaintances🙏🙏🙏

Stunning hotel, great location ( you must visit the village and support local People ) Lovely rooms well appointed. Great selection of restaurants and bars. Booking restaurants can be a slight problem so book in advance. Great staff and our personal host Lydia deserves a mention for her efficiency and organisation skills. My wife and I went in June. I am disabled and required an adapted room with a walk in shower. This was our 2nd visit and we canno wait until the 3rd. What a brilliant all- inclusive resort! The setting is lovely, the range of food superb and the always friendly and helpful staff exceptional. Special mention to Lydia in the concierge team who always went above and beyond to help whenever possible - she was brilliant in a team that always gave 100%!! Not that anything went wrong, but Lydia always made sure that out queries were answered and requirements met efficiently and properly. Also, thanks to Viktor running the outside desk and marshalling the buggies running round the resort, with one fitted with a ramp that I used with my mobility scooter. The gardens are beautifully kept and the use of a Tesla through one day was a useful free bonus to visit further afield. This in all-inclusive at its very best; no wonder Ikos has won awards!! We will definitely return.

Just returned from a fabulous 12 day holiday at Ikos in Mallorca. The staff and amenities were amazing and I’d like to give a shout out especially to Lydia who was an amazing concierge, Carlos by the Adult pool and Vincent who was always on hand to make sure that we had a ride back to our room. Could not fault it. This was a return visit for us and we look forward to returning soo.

Having stayed at Porto Petro in its opening season we returned in April/May of this year for a second visit. The difference since our first visit is apparent. Whilst the location and stylings of the hotel were unrivalled the first time round, this time the overall service and quality of food went up another level. Whilst the resort is currently of the highest price point in the Ikos portfolio, in our opinion it warrants it. It is, on balance, our favourite resort to date. Whilst there are many staff who deserve a mention (George in Oliva, Julia in Beach Club, Sisi at Sa Torre bar to name a few standouts) we cannot say enough about the wonderful Anastasia (who we first met at Dassia). What began as excellent customer service has become a true friendship - she is kind-hearted, warm, sincere and extremely hardworking. Above all she in absolute asset to the brand. A true ambassador for all Ikos stand for, seeing her work as a vocation, not just a job. She goes above and beyond in every sense and made our holiday incredibly special. Whilst the resort is now a slick operation and close to perfection we do still feel the number of restaurant offerings is too low. Especially when compared to the rest of the Ikos portfolio. This is particularly noticeable at lunch. One way to help combat this would be to open Oliva for lunch. Tapas in the sunshine at lunch whilst in Spain seems a no brainer! We suspect it is to do with the higher operating costs of the Spanish resorts vs Greek counterparts but when guests are paying the highest rates, they expect the offering to be on par at the very least - if not exceeding. Hopefully things will improve once they open the new restaurant next year (which at this stage we believe they plan to be an Ouzo... although we think a Provence would be better). One other minor point was that our meal at Anaya this time round was disappointing. It is usually one of our favourite restaurants but whilst the service was good, the food was certainly not to the same standard it has been previously. Of course this could have just been a 'one-off' which we were understanding of and it didn't detract from what was an incredible stay. Thank you to all the team at Porto Petro, we're sure we'll return soon.

Our 1st visit to the wonderful Ikos Porto Petro Hotel and our 9th visit to Ikos Hotels, Excellent interactions with the Ikos concierge team, in advance of our arrival, enabling restaurant bookings, room preferences and mini bar requests, thank you Thanos. Our arrival and welcome, just perfect, with Anastasia providing a highly professional and helpful arrival. Junior Suite with Pool View, situated above the Adults Pool, was an ideal location, with additional sea views. Ideal room layout for us and a compliment to the housekeeping team, as the Queen Bed mattress, was of high quality and comfort, to ensure a relaxing nights rest. Champagne & Fruit, with a personal welcome card, in the room on arrival, a fabulous surprise. With the Gym open 24hrs, throughly enjoyed an early morning visit, followed by a scrumptious breakfast at Fresco, with excellent service from the Team. Relaxing around the Adults Pool, with peace and quiet, just perfect. Excellent service from the Team, always on-point, providing refreshments. WhatsApp contact, is just excellent, for example, ordering a bucket of Ice for your room, to ensure chilled refreshments. Midway through our holiday, more champagne and a large bouquet of flowers were delivered to the room, as a thank you from the Ikos Management Team, a wonderful gesture. Throughout our holiday Anastasia, anticipated our needs and was always providing a highly professional concierge service, always smiling, with the offer of a 1 day opportunity to enjoy the Deluxe Area, which was gratefully appreciated. Evenings relaxing in the Porto Petro bar, pre and post dinner, overlooking the marine traffic, was just delightful. A further surprise, was then delivered by Manos from the hotel management, with the opportunity for 2 night upgrade to a Deluxe Suite with Private Pool, a fabulous gesture, which ensured our holiday was truly memorable, thank you. Ikos Porto Petro hotel is another Ikos Paradise, that we will definitely return.

Having returned from Ikos Porto Petro for the second time this year to celebrate a couple of milestone events, I felt it necessary to leave the following review. 1st class from start to finish. Beautiful location, the staff welcome that you receive is professional, friendly & informative & updated daily throughout your stay. Our Villa manager Alex & his team go above & beyond to ensure that every detail of your requirements are carried efficiently & without fuss. Restaurants are lovely, each location offering something different to suit all tastes, with menus to compliment locations. We are afforded a warm welcome every night from Bogdon & his teams along with sommeliers Sara & Rosa, who are happy to guide us through the extensive wine list & very quickly identify your tastes. Room service team is efficient & happy to provide whatever you require wether it be simply a bucket of ice or a 3 course meal. House keeping team are always on hand & will always check in with you if you need anything else. Very friendly especially Christina who we have had for the second time, was delighted that we had returned. The resort is spread out over a couple of sandy bays, plenty of pretty walks & the landscaping within the resort is beautiful, buggy’s are on hand to transport you throughout the property. All the drivers were happy to chat & interested in how our holiday was going. In summary, I would highly recommend Ikos Porto , if you want a luxury all inclusive holiday in Europe, then this is definitely value for money from initial contact with Ikos to arrival at destination, they take care of everything for you. We look forward to our return in September to see all our friends at Ikos. We live in Scotland which can be a bit chilly at times so a destination relatively close for us is ideal.
