ふる里 Mt Fuji Inn Furusato

We had an amazing stay, the view of Mount Fuji in the morning was stunning. We could rent food bikes for the day for very reasonable price, enjoy Japanese tatami, rest room with free coffee and massage chair, bathroom in a traditional house with a lot of history. The two brothers were very welcoming and helpful to plan our stay and activities, Juan even came pick us up and drop us off at the train station. Not far from the lake, a few restaurant and coffee shop close by, but they close very early at night so you’ll have to get organized, but there’s also a 7-eleven 5min away walking.

Great hosts ! They were kind enough to pick us up at the train station and drive us back on our last day. The rooms are spacious and the futons are very comfortable. There was heating so we were not cold at all. The bathrooms are shared but clean. We would be happy to stay at the Mt Fuji Inn Furusato again.

Great view on Mt. Fuji. Hot bathtub. Kind and helpful personnel. Great to expirience Japanese lifestyle and culture. Sleeping on futons <3. Good lactation to visit Lake Kawaguchiko.

The location is not accessible by public transport- especially the bus.

The owners are amazing people who truly enjoy hosting, and we had a great time with them and the other guests. They helped us a lot with planning our next travels in Japan, which was much appreciated! The rooms are Japanese style, providing a full experience, but the futon beds are thicker than usual, so we had a good sleep too. Highly recommended! 😊

We had an amazing stay at this lovely spot near Mount Fuji! The building may be old, but it’s clean and well-maintained, giving the place a cozy, home-like feel. I especially loved the traditional style of the accommodation, it really added to the authentic experience. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

The hosts are amazing! Juan and his brother made my stay there some of the best experience from my trip to Japan. It felt like staying at a big family house than a hotel/hostel. The house located a bit away from the bus station, Juan picked me up and dropped at the station when I was leaving. Also they gave me a bicycle to explore the area and advised where to go and what to see in the area. Supper helpful! It's a traditional Japanese house so it's a bit old, but everything was functioning.

Loved everything about this place. Delightful family run establishment which went above and beyond. Can not recommend this place more highly. Exceptional
