The Island 4 br (9th Floor)

This was my family and I first time staying at Island Vista and it was amazing. My two sisters really do not care for Myrtle Beach, but we were celebrating our mother's 75th birthday. When we checked into the hotel and opened our room door, they both were blown away and really love it. They even said they was coming back to visit Myrtle Beach, only to stay at Island Vista. They staff was amazing but my check in was awesome smooth and very friendly. Jacarra's, customer service was beyond awesome we need more of her in the customer service industry! 5 stars!!!! I will be back, and Island Vista is the only place I will stay.

I stayed at Island Vista in late October and early November while in MB for some R&R. I went solo and stayed in the Grande Suite (splurging on myself!). This is not the first time I have stayed here and knew pretty much what to expect. This is not a five star resort, so do not expect that. What is fantastic about it and why I come back are the view, seclusion, and the staff. The room was clean when I got there and well stocked with cooking stuff. The suite is more like a mid-tear condo and has the same things you would expect in one. I was there 6 nights and had a fine time. This is my go-to place to stay in MB. If you are looking for a 5-star resort, look somewhere else. If you want plenty of space at a reasonable price with a five star view and location with a friendly staff, this is the place for you.

The resort is in a quiet area with easy beach access. The lobby is well decorated. The pool area is beautiful, just as it shows on the website. The rooms are very clean. The front desk people were extremely nice. Upon check in at 9:00 at night, there were no carts to carry our things to the room. To say parking is tight is an understatement. Parking is beyond tight. There were people outside of their vehicles directing other drivers into their spots. There is no separate entering and exiting exit, so again parking is a nightmare. The 1st bedroom had a window that looked out to the corridor. I'm used to views of the ocean. You also had to walk down the hall to a bathroom. The rooms overall were small with little to no room for extra things like beach chairs, towels, etc. The pools were just mediocre. My family stayed in them about 10 minutes and headed back to the room. This is a nice resort for some people, but after having stayed at a nearby resort on my last visit, I will not be coming back to this one.

The staff was great. I loved that the property was in a more residential area of Myrtle Beach instead of the really busy strip. We will definitely be back!

Check in time 4pm is very inappropriate and check out time they fixed at 11am. We got the room at 4:30. Service was very slow

Beautiful location, all rooms face ocean, beach and ocean front. Good food, friendly management, reasonable prices.
