"Fantastic break."

Loved where our lodge was situated. Very private. Surrounded by lovely views and wild life.

No one was there to greet us. Took a while before someone arrived to show us our Lodge. We had to phone for assistance even though we had pre booked our arrival time.

Me & my partner visited for his birthday it had a gorgeous view looking onto the lake from the hot tub/decking. Bed was super comfy and comes with a cute starter pack when you arrive ! Staff were all super friendly very accommodating and we had the most relaxing time ! It is close to shops / cafes /pubs and not far from York centre for a trip out. A nice little lakeside walk as well which was nice to walk around. Would 100% return and book this lodge again!!

Could not work out how to use the oven as the markings were rubbed off around both dials so had to use microwave instead. However it does have all appliances available and I’m sure someone would’ve helped us if we asked for assistance 😊

Stayed in lodge 12, had the best stay! Site manager is so lovely and suggested a few places to see on site and the local area. Lodge location and views are stunning, the photos don’t do it justice. Hot tub is fantastic and spotlessly clean and so peaceful, perfect way to spend the evening after a day shopping in York 🙌 loved our stay, will 100% be coming back. 9091.

We came here last year and its amazing, close to everything and the staff are so friendly as well which always a bonus

"Gorgeous trip in a perfect location close to York!"

Great location, lovely views and lots of space. Was nice having a cover over the hot tub so we could use in all weathers! Definitely would return

The bed was quite small but it wasn’t a major issue! Bathroom slightly dated but again not a problem!

The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was exceptional. The lodge was warm, well equipped and comfortable. My Wife forgot her hairdryer which happened to be the only thing not provided.

The electric panel heaters are noisy. I could hear the clicking of the thermostat and a loud clunking noise from the bedroom heater, I suspect this one is on its last legs.
