11 The Strand in the heart of Rye

Very clean, very well appointed. Beforehand we were a little worried because the property faces onto the circular road, which has at times busy traffic; but this was not a problem, as it was very easy to block out the road and anyway in the evenings (when one spends the most time in the property) the traffic becomes much thinner. The ‘welcome pack’ was exceptionally generous: not just coffee/tea and milk but nice bread, jams, eggs and more. Nice, spacious kitchen—important for us because we wanted to do some seafood cooking on our own. Really a great place for a stay in Rye.

No real complaints I can think of!

Looking around Rye, very clean, the history, the quaint streets. Plenty of places to eat & drink, people very friendly. Easy accessible public transport to visit surrounding areas

Good location, parking, comfortable and some lovely complimentary goodies left. I would recommend this property.

Location and parking excellent Beautiful cottage very comfortable

Lovely comfortable house in excellent location. Really clear instructions from the owner & really thoughtful of them to leave bread, milk, eggs & bacon along with cereal, tea & coffee. We had a fabulous 3 day stay & wish it could've been longer.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

When we entered the apartment we were positively surprised, beautiful flat with all necessary facilities, clean and comfortable in a very nice location.

Modern and cosy house, excellent facilities, a comfy bed, and a lovely welcome pack. Was helpful to have a dog bowl provided, and poo bags for dog poos in the garden! Lovely little garden. We love Rye and definitely hope to come back again.

It was quite difficult to cool the house down as the busy road means you don’t want to leave windows open at night. Also a bit tricky getting the baby pram in the front door due to steps. Overall a really fantastic stay.

Perfectly situated in the centre of Rye. Beautifully decorated, very well equipped and clean. The host was responsive when I messaged. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing all was great

The property was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cleaning supplies and all the essentials. In addition there was a loaf of bread, eggs and bacon and a bottle of wine. Didn’t expect it to be so well supplied and it is a little gem of a place to stay.

There is off street parking which is a bonus and definitely needed in Rye, however the parking space is only suitable for a medium sized car which wasn’t an issue for us except that two of the other spaces were taken up by large “Chelsea tractors “ which made manoeuvering a bit of a challenge.
