Northstar 1 - 1 Bed Ensuite by Together Travel

Great scenery and lovely room But one night is enough because of lack of things to do this time of year

2 single mattresses for a double bed... kept falling down the middle.... got back ache from this... Coffee table needs to be higher or bigger 🤔 there again got back ache from reaching the kettle ...overall nice and clean...

It looks great, didn't know why there isn't a picture of outside on Booking.com website.

Studio room is VERY small. There is nothing open in John O'Groats after about 5pm and nearest pub was booked out. Real rabbit warren to navigate to rooms

Great location size of rooms and customer service

Booking.com changed my booking with the property without notifying me. I didn't actually stay at Northstar and stayed at double room with North Suite which was lovely but the listing by booking.com was misleading as it presented it as being self catering and with kitchen. It was just room and ensuite with kettle and coffee machine

I liked how central it was to the amenities. I really enjoyed the tranquility of the property and enjoyed seeing the local nature

I found it a little confusing when I got there on how to enter the property, but the staff were really helpful and came to my rescue. Also the property was boiling, the mattress was too soft as a result I didn’t get the best nights sleep. I need a firm mattress due to back problems.

Located directly on foreshore.

No facilities for meal preparation or meal serving. That is no meal provision capability within complex or nearby. No ability to facilitate breakfast on site or before 9AM. Nearest evening meal location was a distance away. The room had no furniture except for a bed that was poorly positioned in relation to the TV fixed to a wall. The room was huge and therefore spartan as no seating furniture was present or a table to eat or work at.
