We booked this for our friends who were celebrating a 60th Birthday, they couldn't have been more pleased with the cottage itself, they described it as comfortable (great comfortable bed, lovely shower) beautiful decor and fantastic central location.

Amazing location close to petworth park Parking to rear and access good Awesome little summer room and shower was top draw could have stayed in it for hours after long walks and work

Road noise a little annoying but that’s because was warm so had to have window open.. nothing owner can do about that! Several alarms went off for 30minutes on the first night and kept us awake but again not hosts issue.. we had great stay all told

Location is very good, car parking was easy and inexpensive. Property is nicely decorated throughout.

Some road noise but this reflects the one way system running round Petworth.

Petworth is lovely, and full of galleries, craft shops and great places to eat. There isa supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The property has a lovely walled garden and summerhouse. There are a great many vineyards nearby and we had a great tour at one of them, 10 minutes drive away.

The owner has a bad attitude and sent us a rude judgemental message following our stay, as apparently we hadn't cleaned to her satisfaction. This was a surprise and the first time we'd experienced this. We'd paid £300 for 2 nights so we thought this was a bit much. Could you imagine a hotel doing the same? Nothing was broken or damaged. We did all the washing up. The staircase is a health and safety nightmare and I hit my head 3 times. The property is on a busy road and the noise of motorcycles was particularly intrusive. There is no dishwasher, which is very unusual on a property at this price. There was no wardrobe and very little hanging space in either room. The next door neighbor was a fan of early-morning weekend DIY. We could not recommend staying here and would find a different property if returning to Petworth.

Such a cute, cosy and tastefully done property. Loved the garden room, we had amazing weather so having a sunny garden was a bonus. Perfect location.

The terrace was wonderful in the lovely weather. We enjoyed eating our breakfast outside in the sun. The house was decorated to a high spec, fabulous shower and a very well equipped kitchen. We stayed for two nights but would happily stayed a week.

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, comfortable, super cosy, and well equiped cottage with a bonus of the lovely garden room where you can eat alfresco regardless of the weather!

The cottage was clean and cosy and the facilities were great. The garden room was such a sanctuary; such a bonus. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the shower was Heaven! Really well located, the town is a stones throw away from the cottage and it's very close to Petworth House.

It is a shame that the front is on a busy road so the sitting room is quite noisy however, the gorgeous garden room fully makes up for this and in the evenings, when I was inclined to watch a little TV, the road is quieter.
