Cozy Bright - 1Bedroom 1 Bathroom - La Latina

We stayed at *Cozy Bright – 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom – La Latina* in Madrid for five nights. Overall, the apartment is in a great, central location with easy walking distance to most major sights in Madrid. The place mostly matched the photos, though it felt a bit more worn in reality. One noticeable difference was that there were no plants in the apartment, even though they appear prominently in the listing photos and add a lot of character there. Cleanliness was generally fine and acceptable on arrival. In short: a well-located and reasonably clean apartment that works well for a short city break, but with some practical shortcomings and noticeable nighttime noise.

On the downside, noise can be an issue. If you are sensitive to sound, this may not be the right place. We experienced quite a bit of street noise, including people shouting and general nighttime activity—especially over the weekend. The flat feels better suited for a short stay rather than anything longer than a weekend. During our five-night stay, we ran out of hand soap, and there were only two trash bags provided (one for organic waste and one for general waste), which made it difficult to properly sort waste as instructed.

Great location, clean, fun apartment.

The apartment was advertised on Booking.com as 55 sqm; however, it felt significantly smaller—likely under 30 sqm—and appeared poorly renovated. The photos are misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the space. Upon entering, you walk through a very narrow corridor that serves as the kitchen. A table is placed along one side, making the space extremely uncomfortable to use. The layout is also problematic: what is presented as two rooms is one small room divided by a tall bookcase, creating a cramped and unpleasant atmosphere. The bathroom is very small, and the ventilation system does not function properly. Additionally, the bed was excessively hard, making it difficult to get proper rest. As I was traveling for work, I requested an invoice. It was sent three days after checkout and required multiple follow-up messages to send it. At one point, I was even told it could take up to 30 working days to receive it. Overall, I would not stay in this apartment again and do not recommend it. It is overpriced for what it offers, with very poor value for money and a highly uncomfortable experience.

De snelle communicatie en alles was aanwezig in het appartement.

We hadden koud water omdat het op was na 1 dag. En dit was niet op te lossen.

Die Lage ist phantastisch, die Ausstattung modern und gemütlich. Zum Glück gibt es auch ein Heizung. In der Küche ist alles Nötige vorhanden, aber in der Umgebung gibt es so viele Bars und Restaurants und Supermärkte, dass Kochen obsolet ist. Die Gegend ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Ein Wolldecke hätte es für uns im Februar noch perfekt gemacht.
