Host & Stay - The View, Hudsons Yard House

Very clean,lovely apartment, good area.Was just all the stairs getting up to it.52 of them,we are in our 70'S with bad knees,if they had said no lift we would not have booked it..but it was a lovely apartment.

Stairs

Central location, view, heated towel rail, ease of access.

Mattresses uncomfortable (springs could be felt), no toilet roll provided, no easy parking nearby.

We only had one consideration that the washing machine did not work, which would have been really useful. Also, maybe provide more than one toilet roll. Provide a little hint brochure of what you can do on your stay.

Second time we have stayed here. Great location . Great view . And overall a great place to stay .

A lot of steps to the apartment. Patio doors were very dirty . Toilet wasn’t cleaned . But I’m putting this down to being out of season.

Great location in Whitby. Lovely to have the big windows in the kitchen area.The apartment makes a good base for a couple of days away.

The accommodation is on the 3rd floor of a narrow and quite steep staircase. Not great when carrying bags up and down. Our main issue with this property was the extra money we were expected to pay in the form of a damage waiver. A week before travel, we were given the choice of a £25 non refundable waiver or handing over £200 (£190 of which would be returned up to 2 weeks after the visit). We couldn't afford £200, so basically had to pay another £25 on top of the original cost. I have booked many times with Booking. com and NEVER had this kind of extra payment added on. The late addition of this payment left a bit of a bitter taste and I will never book a Host and Stay property again - I could have booked another property in the same area without this extra, last minute payment. Communication from Host and Stay was also not good. Overall pretty poor service from them

Everything. It's was spacious, comfortable & easy to find.

We were on 3rd floor so a didn't like all the stairs lol

Property was nice and modern and very close to the town

The only down side I could say was the amount of stairs to get to the property was you were In the building

Beliggenhet, stor og lys leilighet, god informasjon og oppfølging fra utleier, rent og fint.

Vaskemaskin var ikke koblet til. Men det var det heller ikke noen lovnad om i annonsen. Bratte trapper opp til 3 etasje, bør informeres tydelig om så mindre bevegelige mennesker ikke går på en smell.
