Host & Stay - The View, Hudsons Yard House

Amazing location, really clean and comfortable. We would definitely return!

The apartment was really nice in a Great location,nicely done out inside and lovely views

Wasn’t that clean inside and the entrance plus hallway aslo wasn’t very clean, the second bedroom had furniture on the bed when we arrived and there wasn’t any toilet roll.

Not as clean as I was expecting. Some watermarks on mirrors and stains on bedding. Found the lockbox a little tricky to get into too

Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. View from apartment kitchen area was fantastic. Location is perfect to explore Whitby!

Host & Stay did not send us arrival details, we had to ring them to ask for the key safe code and details to access the property when we were on our way to Whitby. Host & Stay also did not update their details, as we added an extra night on and stayed three nights instead of two, however we were receiving texts and emails saying we had to leave the following morning of the first nights stay. We had rang twice already to ask them to amend their details, therefore we texted and asked them to update their information. Host & Stay also charged a £9.99 admin fee to add the extra night on to the 2 nights stay and also charged £10.00 admin fee for damage waiver insurance, we think that £20 extra charges on top of what we had already paid for our 2 night stay was a little bit greedy, considering that the property would have been standing empty for the Tuesday evening that we added on. We were not happy with Host & Stay communication at all. There was also some disturbance that seemed to be coming from the apartment below us - adults were arguing, there was some bad language used, on our third night (late) and we heard similar the next morning, however we did not let this bother us.

Great location, clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated.

Only criticism was the key safe outside was really tricky to get into.

The bed in the big bedroom the mattress uncomfortable you can feel the springs. The smaller bedroom there was a constant drip kept our friends awake. Maybe the drain pipe needs some attention.
