Host & Stay - The View, Hudsons Yard House

Location and spacious. The view was nice. Bedsheets were nice and soft.

Main bed needs replacing, this is the worst bed I have ever tried to sleep in. The mattress is lumpy and the bed slats are not even. Oven requires another shelf for cooking and some baking trays would have been nice. Main bedroom also needs some bedside lamps. Could have been cleaner all over. A pigeon deterrent on the windowsill in the 2nd bedroom would prevent the noise in the morning. Mirror also needed in 2nd bedroom.

Flat was amazing. Everything you needed was there. Location was perfect.

Only 1 toilet roll. Large mountain bike stored at the bottom of the staircase which made it very difficult to get in and out of the property. Very much a fire hazard if there was an emergency evacuation.

It was nice on site ,could do with a lick of paint here and there also the carpet was a bit stained ,the view was really good but the stairs into the whole property wax very smelly

Wasn’t cleaned to my standard but ok .. doors in kitchen which were glass had bird poo on outside ..on arrival the alley way was full of pigeon droppings and smelly .. the stairs up to the accommodation was not clean with feathers and pidgeon mess from outside alley .. pidgeons also on window ledges outside bedroom so woke us up very early with the noise which went on for quite a while ..

Dirty kitchen. Bed with a hole very uncomfortable needed a good vacuum .no instructions for washing /dryer

The flat is in a superb location. It is clean and well stocked with essentials, such as crockery, towels and toiletries. The shower was particularly good and the kitchen was the central attraction of the flat. The View is up three flights of stairs which may inconvenience some people, although the view from the kitchen seems worth it.

My reason for only scoring 6/10 is the request for taking out a “damage policy” to cover any damage that may be caused during the stay. Whilst I understand the reasoning behind this, I was rather annoyed to be asked this after I had booked. However, I can state that the £250 bond was repaid into my account around 10 days after my return as detailed by the hosting company.

Perfect location, clean and well maintained

The steps up to the apartment may be challenging for some but we were fine.
