Deluxe Room A 12 minutes to Ewr

It was quiet and clean. I had a pleasant night rest here.

NOTHING I DIDNT STAY I WALKED IN N SAW TWO PPL HALF NAKED MY ROOM WAS MOVED WITH NOTIFICATION N THE HOST WAS VERY RUDE ALSO NO HEAT

The instructions for getting in were good. But too much bad.

Short answer- really dirty check out the photos. Though some attempts are made to cover up the dirt. I didn't want to sleep there and I left without sleeping there. No refund from the host.. And no understanding shown from the host about the dirt, even after I sent photos clearly showing it. Longer answer- I'd like to write a lot more describing the dirt but there's a character limit in the textbox. A blatant area is the bottom of the bath. The tiles had dirt on them , not just dirt , Gunge! But noticeable when a bit of water is placed on them Even walking on the tiles didn't feel right as there was some sticky feeling to it. And a smell in the room too.. Wouldn't have been able to open the window when sleeping because it's low down and somebody would have been able to come in. So if sleeping there i'd have had to sleep in that smell. Ended up booking a clean hotel but had to wait till 12pm till I could go to bed! Stayed up over 24h missed a night sleep because of this. No refund from host . Ended up booking clean hotel but had to stay up all night. No refund from host either and no understanding from host even after sending pictures of the dirt! First pic- the bottom of the bath. There is a black area.. The human eye pics it up better than the phone camera but it's visible there in the picture. Clearly dirty. Second pic- Very rusty bar over the bath, shows how badly kept the place is. Third pic- It's so gross, that's the floor in the bathroom near the sink. Fourth pic and Fifth pic. One pic shows the floor generally, the dirt isn't that obvious but there's a pattern that is useful for hiding the dirt and the floor is glossy which hides it. Another pic shows the dirt in an area where I put a teaspoon of water on a tile.. you see gunge there. It's like that anywhere. It's so gross Even walking around there didn't feel right. So unclean.

The staff were friendly and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The location is near public transportation and there is a big grocery store nearby.

If you are traveling with a lot of luggage and without a car or uber, the norfolk light rail station doesn't have an elevator. From Newark Penn Station you can take bus 44 to morris ave which is a block away from the site. Beware, although the staff are friendly and kind, they may gently try to convert you to their christian community. I did notice they were a bit influenced by conspiracy theories. If this appeals to you, fine. If not, just kindly refuse their offers. But you may want to spend your money on supporting more neutral parties.

As a traveling nurse I come to New Jersey very often.. and I always book with this property.. it is very clean and very comfortable... the rooms are spacious and well lit... during the cooler nights it is very warm inside... the staff here is amazing and the host is very kind and gracious.. it has truly become my home away from home
