Queen's Gardens No 18

The location was great, close to the centre of St Andrews. The sitting room is huge and bright and the large sofa is perfect for a family. The kitchen contained everything we needed.

The balcony is great but we were unable to use it as we had our small dog with us and we worried that he could fit through the rails. Some additional screening for the safety of small dogs would resolve this. The rear garden could use some attention to make the most of it.

The flat is light with high ceilings and is comfortable and tastefully kitted out. The location is very good for being in the centre of St Andrew's. The instructions were good and it was easy to find and access.

The main drawback of this property is that it is on the first floor directly above student accommodation, and quite a few students. On the two nights we stayed there were parties going on downstairs. The sound proofing is reasonable, but we were still kept awake into the early hours on the first night. If you want to book this place, either do it outside of term time, or if you are planning to be up late and don't mind being disturbed.

We could walk to all the major attractions in St Andrew’s. spacious apartment with a kitchen and lounge area.

Despite sitting beside the router we could not connect to the internet. As the office was not open in the weekend I was unable to use the internet during our two day stay. The lovely large windows in the lounge area need a good clean.

We were given a code but it didn,t work had to call , the call was taken quickly and the nr. was given and we could get the keys from the lock box.

For the price paid, for 2 days, I would have expected things to be a little cleaner, especially after we found out that if we weren,t out for 10 am on leaving day we would need to pay an extra £50, we were out by 9:40 am and we were packing the car and 1 minute past 10 the cleaners arrived... The Tea Towels were dirty unfortuactely , so too were some of the cups, the aparrtment apart from that was fine, but the staircase leading upto the apartment look as though it needed a good clean.. Remember first impressions count, :-)

I loved this place, the high ceilings the location the decor it was lovely. Book it 2 lovely bedrooms, fab kitchen area

Fantastic location, just off the main streets of St Andrew’s but quiet at the same time!

Very minor, but the curtains let a lot of light in, besides this I couldn’t fault it!
