Carvetii - Kings House - 20mins to Edinburgh

A great location for few days, comfortable bed, excellent value for money

broken bedside light, cleanliness could be improved but overall sufficient

Easily accessible from M90 (5 minutes drive) Handy for station (5 minutes walk)

Level of cleanliness was poor in kitchen and bathroom. .Mould around bath, stains on floor covering around toilet, food left on floor between cooker and cupboard, cooker top and sides full of grease, cutlery and dishware had dried on food. Duvet was very bobbly and uncomfortable against skin. Only one of the five windows closed properly, which meant draughts in all but one room and lots of traffic and train noise. The window in the bathroom had to be held shut with a wooden block and a salt container from the kitchen as it would not lock at all and kept blowing open. The property smelt of damp on entry but there was no evidence of damp surfaces. The shower did not work and there was no obvious way of turning it on (combination bathtap and shower arrangement)

Great location, if you want to visit Edinburgh on a budget . Located near to the beach & the train station.

Good location, easy to find. Close to the train station. Comfortable bed.

Lovely as always stayed a few times before,great for commuting to Edinburgh

Could do we a fresh kick of paint some parts quiet dated.Also maybe supply the kitchen with kitchen roll and a few more tea towels

Well arranged rooms. Very neat and clean

The heating system was not accurate enough as it didn't work at times and proper instructions on the working of heater were not mentioned.
