"Good and helpful staffs but can be better"

The service was good and staffs are helpful. However, the staffs who came to my room to reset the Tv and staff who deliver the room service did not take off their shoes. They walked around my room with theirs unclean shoes. That was gross.

The staff were all kind and helpful. They were always greeting you with a smile.complimentary drinks were much appreciated. Thanks to restaurant and kitchen staff for the daily PAPAYA! ! See you again. Hope the Shuttle to town will improve.

This place is very good for the price albeit not in central location to city. Given cheap uber price, this shouldn't be much issue to most people.

"Not so far away from city"

We stayed at Aviango for 4 days for a local running event which close to the race pack collection and bus pick up to event location. The hotel is clean but if my room has ventilation working properly, it would deserve 5 stars rating from me. Breakfast choices are great and price is acceptable. If skip the hotel meal, there are plenty of local cuisine just within walking distance.

"Very nice hotel outside the city centre."

This hotel was very nice. The room was comfortable and lots of space. The pool was lovely but the pool lounge chairs were not comfortable. They needed cushions and got very hot in the sun. The workout room was excellent. Room service was okay in a pinch, but local fare was better. This hotel is great, but it is not really walking distance to the waterfront. Of course, it is a 30 ringgit taxi ride to the city centre. Considering the very reasonable price and comfy bed, it is worth it to stay a little further from the waterfront.

Kota Kinabalu is a great place to visit with a lot to do. The Avangio staff are very friendly and it was a clean and pleasant place to stay.
