Fishermans Cottage built in 1705

Sehr zentrale Lage direkt in der Altstadt, sehr stilvolle Einrichtung, saubere & sehr schöne Zimmer.

Die Küche ist sehr spartanisch ausgestattet (z.B. kein Topf groß genug um Nudeln zu kochen), die Gasse ist sehr laut (Restaurantküchen, Möwen!!).

The property was really cute in a good location. We loved exploring the old town and its lanes and shops. Great bus links outside of accommodation to Rye.

The cooker was dirty and the bedrooms were dusty. The mattress in the robot room was marked with various stains and blood marks. Could do with a deep clean. The garden table was dirty and garden needed a good tidy. The location is right in the middle of the old town and was noisy at night.

De locatie. Het was een museum. Wij vonden het prachtig om in een monumentaal huisje te verblijven.

Such a cute cottage. Right in the centre of all the lovely shops and restaurants and the promenade. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed.

The arga, wasn't for us so we ate out for meals.

Beautiful, loads of character

The location, the history of the property, the cute garden, the teabags and milk in the fridge. It had everything we needed. The hosts were also super helpful to mail home a necklace we inadvertently left behind.

The AGA would be great most the year, but not in the Summer.

Lovely old cottage with a great outdoor courtyard. Full of character and charm. Great bedroom space for the whole family. We all loved the curvy staircase. Full of little touches. Loved our short stay.

Unfortunately, it was one of the hottest days, so the arga temperature was a bit of a pain. Also, backing onto the restaurants created a lot of noise in the morning.

Good idea for the lock box code-one I could remember! Very central to shops etc. Lovely courtyard & sun-trap. Everything was super clean. Very comfy beds. Thankfully there was a downstairs toilet. Lovely walks nearby.

As soon as we arrived the fan from the restaurant kitchen opposite was turned on between 7.30am till 11pm so was noisy in the bedroom. Ended up in the top bedroom. Gulls woke me up at 5am as I had to have the window open due to the heat,was asked not to turn the Aga off-sweltering. Stairs were a bit steep for my husband and knocked his head a couple of times being low(it wasn't too bad for me being small!) Quite difficult to find a parking space but we knew that before we arrived.

The house is situated opposite an Italian restaurant the extractor fan went on early and shut off late which was really annoying. Also caught a man urinating up against the site of the house when we were returning from the restaurant. Alarm went off next door late apparently due to the security cameras. Also people got stressed as we unloaded and loaded as the street was blocked even though we pulled in as much as possible.
