The food served was excellent as was the service. Beautiful location overlooking Lake Gregory.

The location was absolutely perfect, right by the lake with stunning lake views. The environment was calm and peaceful — ideal for relaxation. The property itself was super luxurious, and the hospitality offered by the staff was truly the best I’ve ever experienced.

Rooms need fresh air ventilation

My recent stay at W15 in Nuwara Eliya was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The property itself is a stunning blend of elegance and charm, nestled perfectly amidst the misty hills, offering breathtaking views that made every morning feel like a dream. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in every corner of W15 truly stood out—everything from the plush bedding to the serene ambiance made it feel like a home away from home. What elevated our stay even further was the incredible staff, particularly Raj Madhushanka and Shimal. Raj went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met, always with a genuine kindness and professionalism that made us feel so welcomed. Shimal’s cheerful demeanor and helpful recommendations for local spots to visit added a special touch to our trip—we couldn’t have asked for better guidance! Their dedication and warmth are a testament to the outstanding service at W15. Bedding could be rehauled. The bed wasnt the most comfortable, but I am sure it will be solved soon.

Great location in a quiet and peaceful area near the town. Food was excellent and very attentive staff. Comfortable and first class accommodation.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, however soundproofing between the rooms and the corridor could be improved to ensure minimal disturbance during the night.

The place is absolutely beautiful very nice view calm environment, beautiful gardens. We ate at the hotel and they really do have an amazing chef locally grown vegetables. My husband had lamb. I had fish. We were just in paradise then came the bad surprise, the rooms are lovely With great pillows. Nice bathroom items, good quality tea, and coffee. We enjoyed all the beautiful furniture, but there is one big but : The bed ! Thank you to the staff that were all really nice.

The bed ! It was really worn out and the mattress was deformed . I just couldn’t sleep and feel sore. I did suggest to the owner that they buy new mattresses ASAP. Then it would be perfect .

This was an unforgettable experience overall. Staff made us feel at home, in a beautiful Victorian mansion overseeing the lake. The hotel was the best part of our sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. Our butler Shimal took care of everything in a professional manner and we thank him for this.
