We loved our stay here - it was perfect for our stop off in Nuwara Eliya. The staff were so accommodating - making us a early breakfast for our hike in Horton Plains. We loved the lake view and being able to walk down and around it from the hotel. Tasty dinner in the evenings and spacious rooms. Great stay!

The location is unbeatable. On a hillside overlooking the lake and a rich green field of horses and cows. The staff (and our butler) are all about making sure our every need is met. Beautiful old world accommodations. Heated towel racks and the best cappuccino in Sri Lanka.

Beautiful hotel right on the lake. Excellent service from Jim and Lakisanka. Brilliant food.

Unfortunately, there is noise from the town that is pretty loud, and there is also some construction in front (albeit to the side) of the property
