Hôtel génial pour les enfants : tout est pensé pour eux! les jeux, les petits cadeaux dans les chambres, le marche-pied pour le mettre à hauteur dans la salle de bain... L'hôtel possède de bons équipements pour pouvoir faire chauffer/réchauffer des plats. Le shuttle qui nous emmène de la réception à l'hôtel : un vrai plus ! Très bon emplacement dans un quartier peu touristique de Kyoto mais avec de nombreux cafés, restaurants, petites boutiques autour de l'hôtel. la laundry : très simple d'utilisation et peu chère! très pratique quand on voyage avec des petits qui se tâchent vite.

Les équipements de cuisine mériteraient quelques notes explicatives en anglais. L'espace pour manger est très petit : table trop basse par rapport aux chaises des adultes mais trop hautes pour les enfants. Les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées et pour un hôtel dédié aux enfants... on est vite réveillé par les enfants d'à côté (ou on a peur de réveiller les autres si notre enfant pleure, dort mal, etc...). Les fenêtres sont opaques et n'offrent aucune ouverture sur la rue : on se sent un peu oppressé.

Emplacement parfait a proximité du métro et des arrêts de bus. Les enfants ont adoré la chambre et les jeux communs.

La chambre était un peu petite pour nous 5 mais nous le savions donc je mets quand même 10.

It was a very good stay. The communication was clear and excellent, the place was very clean, and it was very well equipped. The location was outstanding, and having the reception near Kyoto Station was extremely convenient and practical. I don’t really understand why some people complain about the reception, because for us it worked perfectly. If you arrive by shinkansen from Tokyo or Osaka, it is ideal: you can check in, leave your luggage, and go out to explore all day. Later, you can return to your the reception place, take the shuttle and go out again in the evening without any problem. We also had a shuttle bus on arrival, and at checkout it was possible to leave our luggage and continue sightseeing, which I strongly recommend.

The facilities for kids are sufficient and fun enough to entertain the kids! The Forrest room is spacious and clean, we had a great time staying at this room. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood but near to main streets and sight-seeing spots. There are lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I appreciate the privacy of the place too. Though there is no staff on spot, it remains to be very secured especially for family with kids.

Some facilities in the sea room are a bit wear down. We hope the staff could pay more attention to the room facilities’ quality and hygiene.

De lobby, de gangen op de verdiepingen, de kamer, wat geweldig! En dan zat er ook nog een mooi park op 10 minuten lopen en de metro op nog geen 10 minuten lopen. Alleen gezinnen met jonge kinderen, iedereen in hetzelfde schuitje, waar in Japan veel rust heerst, is dat in dit geval niet, de kinderen kunnen hun lol op! Onze oudste van 3 wilde niet meer weg! Als je met jonge kinderen naar Japan (Kyoto) gaat, twijfel niet en ga hierheen, je zult geen spijt krijgen!

We found check in process very painful and difficult with the admin building being separate.

Fun room that the kids loved in a great location to explore Kyoto. Lots of great places to eat in the area and close to bus stop and subway line.

Not much natural light in the room as the bunk bed shuts it off.

Chambre très sympa pour les enfants avec un thème sur l'océan. Salle de bain propre.

Pas de nettoyage des chambres chaque jour. Lit un peu dur et chambre petite.

Having to check in near the station then make our way to the stay. Having a family of 5 with suitcases and prams was very difficult.
