The noise from the pipes when you used the toilet. This was really loud.

The plumbing system. Noise taps . When having shower makes a loud noise. Shame no foot paths or pavement to walk to Woolacombe.

Says not to wear shoes indoors but the floors were filthy, white socks were black.

The position where the house was easy to find lots of space for families

Bed mattresses need to be renewed and pillows not nice Towels very poor need to be changed furniture needed a good clean water pipes make awful noise when used

Property views are fantastic! On a clear day you can see the sea easily from the lounge and sitting on the balcony is stunning. Well stocked with kitchen equipment, but could do with more glasses. Driveway big enough for 5 cars which was perfect. Drive steep and narrow in places but perfectly assessable even for big cars. Overall, happy with our stay. If a few niggles were addressed it would be worth a revisit.

The house location is good if you are using a car. Walk to wollacombe isn’t too far however absolutely no pavement for the first at least 1-2 km which was too dangerous for us as a group of 8 and 2 dogs. With the exception of the bathrooms the rest of the property is tired and needs some TLC. The settee is pretty grubby and needs cleaning. The kitchen felt a bit ‘sticky’ More towels needed as only one per person for the entire stay. The balcony is such a great asset to the house but it was not very welcoming. There was also bedside lamp discarded out there which was a shame !

Lovely position and amazing views of Lundy Island. Spacious house which suited our needs as a family of 6.

There was so much to like but the house was feeling tired. The settee was comfortable but very grubby and could do with a good clean. The balcony coming off the main bedroom was filthy and made sitting out on it unappealing, even though the view was spectacular. Our bedding smelt ' doggy" (and we found hairs on the bottom sheet) so much so that I washed them myself before we used them. The duvet was cheap and had a hole in it and the pillows were yellow and disgusting without protectors on them. The plumbing also needs some attention, and is very noisy at times, and smelly. Maybe an issue with drains? These are things that could easily be rectified, and would make the house seem so much more luxurious. I have never written a review before and I'm sorry that some of it is negative because, the house itself is wonderful and we had a great time.

The house was lovely, very comfortable and spacious with a great sized kitchen for all to hang out in. Felt very private and peaceful with outdoor seating and lovely views of the sea and Lundy Island. Location to the town and beach was good with a short drive in or a 20 min walk (although no pavement for first bit).

The plumbing needs some attention! The loud noises from the pipes when you use the hot water tap isn’t great and if you had two showers running at the same time one would just stop working. The house did feel a little tired in places and some touch-ups wouldn’t go amiss. The kitchen tops were quite sticky in places, not enough wine/water glasses for everyone and not enough information provided on recycling. We were not informed of the drain dip in the driveway either which was a bit problematic for one of the cars but we managed to get around it by laying some wood down for them to be able to drive over without damaging the front of their car.
