It was quiet and close to the beach!

The home was really nice and fully loaded. The community was overall beautiful.

I was willing to overlook the $150 cleaning fee, yet the beds, bathrooms, linen, and entire place was covered in hair and dust. What I cannot overlook is that I left my makeup bag there. Inside it contained my makeup and alot of brand new makeup which was brought for me by my dead Grandmother, in fact it was one of the last things she gave me and was very sentimental to me. I know for a fact that I left the bag in the room and almost immediately noticed it was missing. Yet when I called the owner, he says he's had the same cleaning crew for the past 7 years and no one had seen it. He suggested that I must have packed it up somewhere and would find it later, when I knew deep down I left it there. Once I got home and checked everything confirming what I already knew, I texted the owner again to ask about the bag and he never responded so that tells me all that I need to know. I have been crying nonstop everyday since I've got back home and have found myself more stressed than I was prior to taking this mini vacation. I will NEVER stay here again and am very disgusted to know how dishonest people can be. Makeup is minuscule to most and can be replaced, but not the sentimental value it held to me. To anyone wanting to stay, always double check and don't leave anything behind because people aren't as honest as they should be and be ready and willing to do your own cleaning, despite them being paid a very hefty cleaning fee. When it seems like their only interested in cleaning up what the guests have left behind. To whomever has my items, I pray God has mercy on your soul. The items you are using were gifted to me in love by my Grandmother prior to her death and are indeed surrounded by her spirit. For me to leave items behind would be one thing, but knowing that I called back about my items and you not return them is in fact very wrong and dishonest.
