SGI should really believe the bad reviews inside. I genuinely liked checking out. It was honestly the best part of the stay. We deliberately avoided returning to the apartment until late each night and left as early as possible every morning because we simply did not want to spend any more time there. The location was convenient, but unfortunately that was overshadowed by the condition of the apartment. If there was one positive, it was the feeling of relief when we finally handed back the keys.
Where do I begin? Before arrival, we were instructed not to tell anyone that we were staying in a short-term rental and were told to say we were merely visiting the owner if questioned. That immediately made us feel uncomfortable. When we unloaded our luggage, several residents stared at us, making the entire arrival feel awkward. The apartment was filthy. The bathroom ceiling was covered with mould and cobwebs, there were cockroaches in the kitchen, the toilet seat was heavily stained and blackened with mould, and the sofa looked so dirty that my family and I refused to sit on it. We also used our own towels to cover the beds before sleeping because we simply did not trust the cleanliness of the beddings. The unit felt more like a storage room than a holiday apartment. The living room was filled with old items, storage racks and miscellaneous furniture and dehumidifiers. Inside the wardrobe were old, heavily used pillows, blankets and bedding that had simply been stuffed inside without any protective covers. They looked unhygienic and should have been disposed of long ago rather than left there to grow bacteria. Maintenance was equally poor, with peeling wallpaper, damaged cabinet finishes, exposed electrical wiring inside the kitchen cabinet and generally worn fixtures throughout the apartment. The apartment is also located immediately beside a flyover, making traffic noise very noticeable, especially early in the morning. To make matters worse, the security deposit was almost the same amount as the one-night stay. I checked out on 11 June and, as of 25 June, it still had not been refunded. I was told it would take 7–14 working days, which feels unreasonable for a night stay. How much interest can you earn for these 3 weeks of holding our deposit? The attached photos accurately reflect what we encountered. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this is one stay I genuinely cannot recommend. I should really have believed the previous reviews here.

The place is totally different from the picture, it's very unpleasant. For future guests it is better to book another place nearby. Feels like I got scammed, it is rare for me to write a bad review, but this place I should highlight so others won't get the same experience as me. You can refer to the pictures of the place that I took. Tv is just for display, it cannot be on, the drinking water machine is also just a display, it is not functioning. The sofa got stained everywhere. The bathroom sink is flimsy if you slightly press it feels like it can just topple down. Curtains can only cover halfway of the window for the rooms and the hall is the same, not fully covered.

Our experience at this homestay was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations. The photos advertised were the total opposite of the actual unit we received. We paid over RM500 for a one-night stay, which made the condition of the property even more unacceptable. More so when we had to pay RM200 deposit before check-in instructions were provided. Further, the check-in process was unnecessarily complicated, with confusing instructions for key collection and an odd parking arrangement just to access the lobby, creating frustration from the outset. The unit was not clean at all, with serious hygiene issues, including the presence of cockroaches. The furniture was mismatched, visibly damaged, stained and worn, including items such as sofas and bed sheets, which were already dirty and in poor condition upon arrival. Communication with the homestay management was limited strictly to a WhatsApp group chat, they refused to entertain phone calls. When we raised our concerns, the only response was to ask us to cancel the booking. No effort was made to resolve the issues, such as offering to send cleaners. We were left with no practical alternatives but to continue our stay there for the night. To make matters worse, the homestay imposes very strict house rules with penalty charges for each item, despite many of the furnishings already being stained, damaged, or unclean before our stay. This felt unreasonable and unfair. Overall, the poor condition of the unit, misleading photos, lack of proper customer service, and rigid policies resulted in a highly unsatisfactory experience.
