"Nice relaxing weekend in a lovely town . We came to go on the flying Scotsman ."

Cottage was lovely small but quirky

The cobwebs ganging from ceilings wall lights .shelves and ceilings . It could also do with a Bathroom floor mat. Beds in the loft the springs were very squeaky and it took a while to Go to sleep . It would also benefit from a hook to hang coats by the back entrance door.

Property is in a great location, close to the amenities and with parking, which is a bit of a challenge in Pickering. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well provisioned.

Recycling bins would be helpful.

"Great stay in a lovely location"

Location was very good and property well stocked with kitchen items and v clean

It is on the main road so there was a bit of traffic noise for those sleeping in the attic bedroom. I also did now want repeat texts about hiring a chef - I found that irritating.

"Nice stay in good location."

Location was spot on and property very clean. Beds comfy. Sofas a little tired and not so comfortable. Kitchen modern and well equipped but kettle needs replacing. Dining area also quite cramped. Quaint small outside space, ideal for our dog. Gate needs fixing and properly securing.

Some points covered above but main issue was steep stairs to first and especially second floor of property. Lots of steps in property in and out of rooms and access to bath/ shower very challenging. Not a property for anyone with mobility issues.

It was ok.

When we walked in the cottage smelled of dogs. Doesn’t look as good as it does on the photos. Need TLC and a deep clean. The sofas are really uncomfortable it’s very hard to get up out of them.
