Host & Stay - Rose Cottage, Pickering

Location was great for Pickering station and the heritage railway. Cottage was gorgeous with all that we needed. Comfortable and everything supplied for lovely stay.

Constant reminders via email about breakages were chargeable even though we'd taken out an insurance waiver and leaving the property by 10am on departure day, which we were fully aware of after the FIRST email! It led to a worrying stay not relaxing for fear of breaking something.

Fantastic location. A lovely cottage and all the facilities and equipment you need.

Really can't find any fault with this cottage. If only 1 thing. Would be useful to have more parking.

Great location, safe off road parking, well equipped cottage, comfortable beds.

The property was in a good location for going to different places such as Flamingo Land, Scarborough, and York. These are just some of the places we visited on our stay. we took our 2 grandchildren with us and the had a ball

Can't say we didn't like anything, but stairs were steep, and you had to watch going up and down

Charming cottage in the centre of Pickering.

Instructions for the central heating could have been clearer. Ideally a printed hard copy in the information folder would have been more useful. A light in the porch area by the front door would be useful as it was dark area.

Location was great, photos looked good which made our decision, but so dark inside even when sun shining back yard uneven, cobwebs in dining area shower mat filthy sofas so uncomfortable, noisy from main road traffic felt cottage was tired No garden

The house was absolutely perfect it was like a home from home.

There was nothing that we did not like, the house clean and in the perfect location for what we needed
